Not sure if I am allowed to comment, but I think the Dogs will be looking for a huge percentage win.

The other comment I think, the gossip around town about Adam Simpson is unfair and uncalled for. Simpson is a premiership coach, and the changing of the guard had to come some time for Eagles teams , and a restart and I guess that is rebuild

The Eagles staunchness as an AFL power has barely moved,they are always somewhere near top, either running the show or beating someone.

This now, is part of the cycle .

Unfortunately although the new clubs in GC and GWS, dilute.

Which has made the recruiting and drafting and player gathering, much harder and rebuilds will be much longer with Tasmania?
And the recruiting and footy department decisions make that happen. Thats inner club business responsible for that.

So Luke Hodge is right if you sack Simpson, then you should sack most of the administration!

But, sacking Adam Simpson is a very unwise thing , he will have new players and new ways dealing with new individuals, he is a proven coach he's been to the mountain twice won and lost, he should be backed up instantly, by people inside the power base of the Eagles.

Coaches are not the be all of club success, available players, and holding on too long to others, so this is a good learning curve for the Eagles who hit the bottom and thenl return.
So hierarchy, keep your heads out of the renewing clouds!
