You don't make any unwarranted changes, you don't rest anyone. Richmond and North aren't good sides but in 2024 you need to keep your foot on the gas or you can get a bit of a surprise, especially with finals on the line.

No change.

100% agree with this.
We cannot become complacent and mess with a winning formula.

We can rest players if we have the game wrapped up early, similar to what we did yesterday by subbing Day.
All the players will get 1 week off after Round 24.

Right now, play for every win.

No Change.

Harry and Josh only got their chance after stringing together a run of excellent form in the VFL.

That's how it should be to anyone in the VFL at the moment - play well, play consistently, and you will get your reward.

Just quietly - how much has Harry improved this season?

He is in career best form, and deserves his place on merit.

Finn must be next cab off the rank, as his VFL form has also been superb recently.

But, unless a genuine injury - no change.

1 change for me.
Scaife for gunston (managed)
Gunston will have a big role to play against the doggies defence potentially first final
I'd like to see this too.

And maybe even Hustwaite for Day if he needs the extra rest. Though Day plays if fit.

If Ginni, Day and Meek are having a niggle, we can rest them and hope that others can lift. Even Sicily can be rested too

Only forced change would be Day, if he's not fully fit. No point risking him.

If Day is out then I'd like to see Ward come in and let both he and Mackenzie spend some more time in the middle.

Morrison keeps his spot, cannot fault his performance and he generally links up really well with everyone when we are on top of the other side, which is what will hopefully be happening this weekend.

Ginni had an awesome game defensively and scored a couple of good goals. If he has a niggle or is upset about CJ being rested then he needs to be managed carefully as he is so important to us.

The more games he and the other forward group play together the better the chemisty - and he has been chemistry gold since the minute he walked in to our locker room.

Both games need to be decent wins to make finals and enter finals in commanding form. Don’t meddle with the starting squad unless forced to by injury / suspension / terrible form.

None of this ‘managed’ business.

As Sam said after the game. We can’t afford to lose another game for the rest of the year.

So…….changes?

Can’t believe posters are suggesting we “rest” players. Nothing is a given and winning form is good form and a change to the structures risks upsetting that.

The only changes should be forced changes and if Will is in any doubt he shouldn’t play, we all saw what happened to Curnow - he should never have taken the park.

This will be a tough week for CJ. He must know there is no conceivable way to replace Morrison after that performance.
Injuries happen at bad times and this is just one of them.

He could be the big beneficiary of a week's rest. Would be cherry ripe for a game in Tassie if anybody gets another niggle or underperforms.

But for this week, no change. I genuinely felt Harry was our best player yesterday.

No changes, no resting unless genuinely injured or risk of doing damage. Absolutely zero hubris the next two weeks - take each side as seriously as we have any other this past 2 months.
