Didn’t think his first goal was amazing - second was great.

I thought Nick won us the game in the 2nd
Though Q’s tackle in the last won us the game
Thought Beau’s goal to put us ahead won us the game

Without Shoota's 2 goals in the last few minutes we wouldn't have won the match...!

Of course Q's tackle, Beau's goal & Nick's 2nd qtr were all contributing factors too

He certainly played a big part in that Q4 score rundown.
McCreery also and the big fella Cameron was massive with some big marks.
IQ and Nobes also had moments as well as Sideass. Also thought Josh had a solid game too.

Pendles had a bit of a mare, but he is 50 so to be expected here and there.

Epic finish. Absolutely rapt with the 'never say die' attitude of the playing group.

Finals footy is conceivable if we beat Melbourne next Friday night and certain results go in our favour, namely Fremantle and Carlton slipping up.

I'm in awe of the clutch moments we produced in the last 5 minutes of the match. IQ's tackle on Bailey was a match saving tackle, followed by Schultz kicking two red time goals and then Beau putting us in front. Just scintillating to witness as a supporter.

Nick was excellent, despite facing a tag. His second quarter goals were of the highest quality when we needed someone to get us back into the game.

Just think he needs the right role and match up to see 2025 out. Not sure he has another after that though for Harvey's record which he apparently is aiming for.

Hasn't got the pace to go with some of the younger mids.

Don't understand the anger with Parker.
Thought he did well on several occasions.(confused emoji)
Was happy to see Ned Long subbed on, and think that he should have been there from the start.
Umpires were indeed horrible - they did in fact give Brisbane an unfair advantage with incompetent decisions on a few occasions.
Did not look like cheating.
Just looked like sheer incompetence.

Parker was very cautious in one such contest and showed maturity beyond his years bumping Cameron off the ball just at the right moment.

He struggled onball tonight, looked very dangerous when forward.

Parker was very cautious in one such contest and showed maturity beyond his years bumping Cameron off the ball just at the right moment.

He fumbled and kicking was subpar on quite a few occasions.

This doesn't mean he won't improve and become a decent player but he was a weak link and imo isn't ready.

Funnily enough Pendles looked like one of the only likely ones to Snap us into gear in the first quarter. Looked like him vs Brisbane at one point

Just catching up on this thread now, did a Essendon supporter really come here to troll after no finals wins for 20 years and after them shitting the bed this year. Ha ha ha so good.

What a magnificent win and still a chance at finals, all be it a slim chance but a chance still unlike Essendon. Proud of the boys after that win and comeback, wasn’t looking good early. Absolute brilliant run down tackle by quaynor and nicks second quarter was bloody magic

Which has and is being acknowledged. But that Q4 was vintage 23 footy where as a team we enforced our way of playing as a team on the opposition.
Schoota definitely deserves a round in his part in it.

Yes and the umpires must be of the mind that Nick needs to "earn it" his superstar pass that L.Neale has.
As he is not receiving the typical superstar free kicks at this stage. Opposition can near on do what they like to him.
