Nothing on McMullin or Briggs in the Rehab Report. So, expect them both the play.

There’s an article on cogs and Briggs saying they are both good to go

Thanks for including a pic of Preuss - forgotten what he looked like...

Working through what the 23 will
Look like for the finals, anyone else think there is an outside chance of neither Thomas or Muff making the final 22 with Snooze being pushed back into the forward line with cunning slotting into the midfield in his place?

Snooze would still be in the team to tag if needed and we could fit all the current mids in and add cumming to the mix without them squeezed to sub.

Snooze doesn’t find a lot of the ball in the midfield and that 7th forward (muff/thomas) is a bit the same so wouldn’t necessarily hurt the forward 50 setup

Muff/stone/thomas/XO can fight it out for sub

Yes, it's possible. Might depend on the opponent and if there's a mid we need to negate.

Can definitely see them going with harder bodies like XOH

I’d be surprised if that happened. The coaching staff want a specialist tagging role in the team and Bedford is the only one they have in mind for it. Most of that is due to his speed/endurance profile but part of it is because he wasn’t playing very well as a small forward earlier in the year.

So, if GWS beat Bulldogs, and Freo beat Port, together with expected Hawks and Carlton wins, Bulldogs would be knocked out of finals.

So, let's go Giants!

Presuming Ash remains banned, I'd expect Stone to come in and take his place, with no change to the rest of the defence line-up and roles. Alternatively, we could recall Fonti, whose running game is perhaps closer in style.

Some of the other question marks may come down to the Dogs' line-up. With English a query as to whether he'll return, if there's a query on Briggs, we may elect to come back to having Lachie Keeffe ruck solo (which could be against Rory Lobb primarily, who won't like Lachie barging into him all day).

If McMullin is tender, then I agree Harvey likely comes back in; if Muff is OK, then does Harvey get a guernsey or not? If Stone comes in for Ash, Harvey might get the sub role.

Everything else, I'll wait until Tuesday's injury report to see what it says!
That's pretty much it! Although at this stage Carlton has ten of it's senior players out injured. I am not expecting Carlton to win.

That should be very good for us. English out and Lobb sore with a light training load.

Let's get Briggs and Keeffe in there to double-team him in the ruck. Also means they won't have, what has becomes their best key defender, able to get back and stop Hogan from scoring.
