Solid half from our boys. Small defenders a little under siege, but everyone else is working their way into it.

It is really, really weird to be the team capitalising on most opportunities as opposed to the one squandering everything while having more of the ball.

Der-wayne nearly wets himself every time Port get a goal, then there's dead silence when the Crows kick one. Get him offfff!

This is the best footy we've played all year. Port have come to play no question. Our defense has held up well. Still look vunerable when the ball hits the deck but we've had their talks covered. Gotten giving the Hoff a lesson. Also for all their behinds they haven't had shots in good spots.

Pets is doing a forward tag job on Pittard.

Just as well, because I can smell the panic in him every time the ball comes in his direction.

Crouch and Brown struggling a bit as is Pets.

Petrenko really not offering much or taking his chances at the moment. Hopefully later in the game when everyone is a bit more fatigued he'll start to have more of an impact, because he's not offering more than Vince would at this point.

We are lucky to be in front. Lucky bounces for goals and Ports inaccuracies. They are on top in disposals and contested possesions. We have a number of players who have hardly touched the ball. Time to pull their fingers out.

Crouch really looks to be labouring, seems to always be a mtr or two behind his opponent, just rookie woes or a niggle?

We still have too many passengers. Sloane, Danger & Wright are busting their guts while Stiffy, Pets, Jaensch & Mackay might as well be in the grandstands.

JJ has been good, Walker is trying but getting caught out of position too often when going for a marking contest.

Brown has been off the pace a touch but Crouch hasn't done much wrong. Just hasn't had much opportunity. Started to look more comfortable toward the end of the 2nd quarter there. Hopefully has a big 2nd half. Sloane, Dangerfield, Jenkins and Otten all superb so far.

At halftime Port have 23 more disposals, 3 more clearances, 5 more inside 50's, 13 more contested possesions. Adelaide have 8 more tackles. Scoring shots equal, so anybody's game. Its not going to be easy at all to win this one. Would not be surprised if we fell behind again unless we lift and get more of the ball. We can do it, huge game if we want to push back up the ladder to the top 4 and get another chance in September.

Certainly not playing our best at the moment and we were lucky in a way that Port kicks for goal were awful -

Should be able to run over the top of them though - I anticipate Vince will have an impact when he comes on
