Round 3 Captain Selection....

Bartel/Cox, if you have either one of those they should be your captain EVERY WEEK.
most people have Cox and they should realise that he is going to be unstoppablefor the rest of the 20 games this year. Cross, Swan, Kornes, Riewoldt, Pavlich, BJ, etc should all be overlooked. Cox is much better than last yeari reckon

I have all 3, so not sure which one to go, im thinking Ablett
If you have Bartel, use him! Best captain in the game imo. Especially at skilled stadium, you can set and forget, he'll play well if its dry, if it rains then even better!

I'll be avoiding Cox,
West Coast havea bad record against Freo in Derby's, Sandilands is bigger and likely to steal alot fo hit-outs. And depending if WC crumble Cox wont rack up as many possessions as normal.

Im definately looking long and hard at Joel Corey this week.. cant go past Geelong considering their form and who they are playing. Going to be abit of a slaughter.

Nobody is saying he wotn do well.
Im just saying looking at past history, who he is facing int he ruck and past DT scores hes probably not the safest bet.
Geelong or perhaps Cornes brothers seem to be a safer bet of a 100+ score.

Any Geelong player will dominate. Bartel to score 150+. Last 6-7 games v Melbourne he's never scored below 100. FREAK!
Just had a look at the weather for Saturday's game in Perth and it's going to be wet!
I have to look elsewhere, I reckon.
I've got SJ, but i'm not sure, he hasn't given me enough confidence to select him as captain.

There's no standout players this week at all besides the Geelong guns. I can see this being a low scoring week.
All the elite mids have worries too.

I agree... You can't be serious. I was at that game on the weekend, and it is probably only the 3rd or 4th time I have got to watch cross live. He is a freak! Constantly EARNS the footy. Plus, how can you really say what is junk time when a team is down by so much so early. That would mean it was junk time since about half way through the 2nd quarter.

definetly looking at either corey or ablett should run riot
Will most likely stick with Thompson, only other players I'd be looking at would be J. Brown and Pav against the Glass-less Eagles.

My captain choises so far. Pretty steady would of liked 100+ but oh well consistency is the thing I'm looking for.
Garry Ablett as captain for me this week. 121 points against the Bombers, what's he gonna do to Melbourne would'nt be surprised if Wayne Carey's record of 209 is challanged by one of Chapman/Ablett/Bartel in saying that I'd reckon all three of those guys should get 110+
