Biggest weakness for me after three weeks is the ability for the opposition to go from our 50 to theirs with little to no pressure.

7-8 players simply not up to it, and we don’t have anyone waiting to replace them either. The list is a mess.

Played some junk footy in the second half and for the most part were trying to save it rather than win it. But that’s to be expected as being defensive is our game plan.

How do you lose a game with a dominating ruck performance like that!
Oh I long for the day when Grundy will be allowed to become a clearance player for us again. Hopefully the next coach will allow it.

Clearances are quite distinct from hit outs and hit outs to advantage though.

That is the point.

The nuffies that go we won the HOs by 50 but only won clearances by 5 don't get it....winning the clearances by 5 is actually a pretty good result!!

Rd1 we lost clearances by 6, Rd2 we lost em by 5 so actually winning by 5 is a great return for us!

When Grundy plays well we win clearances....his HO numbers are largely irrelevant was Bucks point, as they don't judge Grundy on his HO differential.

Roughy's best game in a while, was outstanding. Our backline per usual did stand up strong.

Two perfect examples of weak footballers who just aren’t up to the level, and both cost us dearly tonight.

If I’m Bucks, I’m going to then after the the game and telling them they’ve cost me my job. Harsh, but something those boys have to live with.

Obviosuly I’m just blowing steam and the whole team was to blame, but those poor errors from Will and Brown really stood out to me as big moments. Moments where those two realise their careers are done.

We might not have won with kids in their place, but I’d rather play the kids now and lose rather than these non-AFL standard older players, and still lose.

Wow so the press conference Bucks has said Grundys hitouts are a furphy(irrelevant). Yet West Coast thrive of Nic Nats hit outs. I would tend to think our coaches can't coach to maximise a dominant ruck, what a major cop out i am shocked

A dominant ruck not facilitating the midfield is clearly a coaching issue

Brisbane kinda pulled that one out of their ass, didn't they? After last week, you knew it was gonna happen to somebody, might as well have been us. Leaving that roof closed was a bit of a laugh too. Just making sure to set the conditions so the Lions feel at home? At any rate, playing not to lose is the best way to make sure you shit yourself.

Also Callum Brown should be done. No more. I don't like making hot takes but I've got nowhere else to go with that.

Out of the 8-9 kids we've picked up in our last 2 drafts, we need 2-3 of them to force the likes of Brown, WHE, Thomas and Madgen out of the side.

The fact that not one of them has developed enough to do so yet and those 4 continue to get gifted games with no one putting pressure on their spot concerns me more than anything right now.

We're a bottom 8 side as long as they're still in our best 22

Oh,I forgot to mention,one Sidebottom.He’s fast joining that list of sub standard players.Every time he got the ball,he either fumbled,coughed it up,or made a turnover.Just pathetic from a player who is supposed to be one of our most skilled players.

He seems to get a free ride from most for some reasons. After his worse on ground performance when it really mattered in 2018 GF, poor 2019 Prelim and his stuff up last year he owes us big time.

Haven't read anything but once again, DeGoey the show pony can fu** off!

He always seems to get a free pass from the supporters.
Every week they are so critical of the same players but DeGoey always gets a pass.

I like him and think he is very talented and games like last week show it. Problem is, those games only happen once every 6 weeks or so and their is a big gap between his best games and average games.
He needs to close that gap and have solid performances in between his great performances.

One great game by him seems to give him enough credits in the bank to last 8 weeks around here.

Because the coach has told him not to grab the ball out of the ruck contest. Somebody posted an article about that a week or so ago. Didn’t seem Brody was happy about it either.
