Stoked with all the changes and really surprised with the brady grey inclusion. I feel sorry for the dogs players knowing grey is going to lay em out, love the way he plays he's so hard at it, id love for him to lock himself into this team.

Interesting that we're going in with just 1 ruck and 2 key forwards.

And by interesting I mean "shit". Expect McCarthy to be double teamed all day just as Pavlich was when we played a 4 man forward line. Taberner should be playing, end of.
hoping tabs is a late inclusion

JESUS CHRIST YES!!! Feel like we've won a ****ing flag with 5 spuds dropped (and an unlucky Tucker). 6 blokes I wanted to see desperately in the side - I know this doesn't spell success but I have actually have some vested interest in watching the match.

EDIT: And not pulling in Taberner by default, he has to earn his way back by putting together a string of solid performances.

Why didn't you come down to the viewing area. Its right in front of the players locker room. Fantastic view .

When's main training next week? I'll be free (at last).

About the changes. Good to see.
Forward line left intact. Good. They need to gel and it's not their fault if they are not getting supply or getting poor supply like last week.
I'm glad Dawson is out, and Johnson and Ibbotson have kept their spots. For now.
Griffin and Suban were no brainers.
Reckon the only thing saving Spurr is that Luke Ryan is only just fit and playing for Peel.
Absolutely rapt for Grey. He won't die wondering. Good on Balic too. Are you excited DannyTheDoorman ?
For Logue, I hope he gets over his nerves and settles by the end of the game.

Taberner has been poor for Peel so far this year, apart from getting on the end of the ball when there was a massacre. I'm okay with him being an emergency.

Thursday for a Sat game, Friday for a Sunday game. See you there but you won't be able to bring the bike in.

Bit surprised it'd be Tucker and not Blakely to be honest, I don't want either dropped but thought Tucker showed a bit more.

He certainly seems to have 'RTB-favourite' written all over him
Tucker has been really poor and considering we are playing the 'kids' he'll be getting a strong message about being dropped..

It's actually making going to the game on Saturday a bit more exciting. Although I'm expecting a loss, it'll at least be good to see what could be a majority of our best 22 for the next 5 years play together for the first time. All that remains for the rest of the season is to see Darcy and Bennell to debut, A Pearce make a successful come back from injury and Collins cement his spot in the starting line up.

Relief ruckman is a bit of a mystery, but I suppose Sandi can do 95%. If there's no late changes wonder who it might be. Johnson is the next tallest.

I like Grey in the forward line. He'll tackle, and from what I've seen, for a smaller sized player, he'll be able to compete in the air and get the ball to ground.

Tucker has been ok, I think he just gets tuckered out during games.

Great to see everyone so happy, and we get to enjoy it for 2 days!
Then we will see what happens on Saturday night, but I know one thing for sure - the precedent is set now, perform or play in the magoos. Danyle Pearce is a massive statement IMO. I know many have been wanting this for a long time. Interesting to see how he goes in the coming weeks at WAFL.

I really hope we can be competitive, regardless it will be fun to watch the newbies (and under 50 game players) have a crack against the Premiers! My hip flask can stay away, and I will go back to the good old mid strength :)

Hoping that balic and blakely get significant midfield time because they are primarily inside mids and hopefully frees up fyfe to go forward and be dangerous

Whilst it is good to see Sutcliffe and Suban out, if the tactics are the same nothing will change. Its gonna be the same result.

Tbh looking at those outs, most have been culpable in choking our ball movement.

Someone (think it might have been Lach) identified that on our way out of the defensive 50 we've actually been set up quite well structurally down the ground. The problem being that our backline/certain midfielders have lacked the confidence to transition straight out of defense.

That's not to absolve RL/the coaching staff of blame, but a couple of new look faces without the baggage of 5 years of our old tactics drilled into them (i.e. force stoppages and let Barlow, Fyfe and Mundy drag us into the forward 50) might have the confidence to attack the game and give it to McCarthy and Co before the opposition can set up for us to turn it over.

They'll **** it up more than a few times, but I'd rather see that than a hacked kick out to the wing because no one wants to take the game on.
