A bunch of our defenders today have squibbed at the contest which has been frustrating considering we have been doing so well to get the i50 entries.
Should definitely have more score on the board. Effort and dare has been there for the most part (excluding above).
Ginbey on track to retain top of the tackles if he can get 4 more in the second half.

Overall to be 4 goals down feels less like a true reflection of the game. high pressure and we just haven't been clean enough.

We're sinking the boot into Culley already? Really?
It's no different to anyone else. His a mature pick and been in the system long enough now to show more. Especially when he hasn't done anything at all. I've seen Clark more today and that's saying something.

Anyone's open to critism. I give the first year after the draft as a pass but after that I want at least some signs. I'm not seeing a sign at all with Culley. Just way to slow. I've never seen him angry or looks like he want the ball.

His a midfielder not a ruck or forward that takes longer to develop. We should of at least seen something from a young mid straight away. I'm missing why all the hype there is with Culley

Mid game melts are a proud tradition but I’m well into this, unsure about all the tears.

Given up some soft goals but also playing a good brand in bursts against the most suffocating team in footy.

Premiership favourite is showing some cooler heads than the wooden spoon second favourite, but can’t fault the work rate. Into this.

Clark,Culley,Edwards. Can these midfielders please show something? ANYTHING?

Clark's lack of athleticism is astonishing. I can barely believe he's a WAFL midfielder never mind AFL.
Another tweener KPP-turned-mid who does well at state level where athleticism is lower overall, but just way too slow once everyone else is much more athletic

You’ve never seen Jai Culley angry or looking like he wants the footy?

It is going to be a long few years for some here.

Edwards has been ok, Clark plays like a much smaller player.

Bugger. Easy to get frustrated with the ease in which they are scoring. Some basic errors proving costly… But need to look at the positives.

This is not 2022. Our effort and intensity (in comparison to the past 18 months) is light years difference. Really loving the willingness to keep taking the game on, some of the ball movement has been really good, just the last bit of execution not there.

Need to find a way to isolate our key forwards, our forward line is really crowded and frustratingly, the guys seem to be leading to the same spots/getting in each others way.

Will need to address the midfield balance. Can’t afford both Clark and Culley. Luke Edwards is a player to be persisted with 👍
West for Petch seems a likely change. More to like than dislike overall.
This has looked exactly like since mid 2021 to me. Basic skill errors, no two way running, teams scoring on turnover at will, slow one effort plodders, bombing it in to a packed forward line hoping for a grab, senior players who have a premiership medal not giving a rats ass.

I don’t know how you can sit through 2022 eagles and not be so up for this. Some forward organisation away from being right in the thick of it with Melbourne.

Melbourne who have two 50 point wins through three games of footy by the way.

Given we all need a positive, Hunt has been really good. I always thought of him as a bit of an outside player but he has a solid crack at the contests and gives us some real drive out of the backline. A good pick up

Yep this is much, much better than the abject clown shit of last year. We're having a crack and showing flashes of being a good side, we're just missing a touch of class.

Ok… I honestly don’t know what to say to that. I hope you find some enjoyment supporting us again soon.
