Interesting we’ve gone with a small lineup. Saints don’t have a lot of proven tall fwds aside Max King, although they do have some talented young players like Caminiti. Maybe the goal is to double down on the crazy swarming pressure from last week. I guess its hard to mark a ball when no one gets a clean kick away

I can’t remember the last time we went into a game with a more dog s**t full Forward than Kosi as the only key target

Who would the Blues FF be is McKay and Curnow were injured?

What about the Pies if Mihocek and McStay are both out?

Or Lions if Daniher and Hipwood are both injured?

Most teams would be fielding a dog sh*te FF if their two primary KPF’s were out injured.

Soldo looked good pretty tonight - what did we get for him trade-wise?

We did well out of that deal.

I still believe Freo wont make finals so their 2nd round pick that we have will be good.

Done deal: Five picks change hands as Soldo lands at Port
The Tigers have received picks 41 and 49, a future second-round pick tied to Fremantle as well as Port's future fourth-round pick in exchange for Soldo, with the Power also getting Richmond's pick 50 in return

thanks!

Had missed all this, but sounds like he left against our wishes, so certainly no regrets

SEN:
That turned out to be the main reason behind Soldo’s wish to depart the club with the 27-year-old pushing for a chance to be first-choice at Port Adelaide despite Richmond wanting to retain his services.

“It was the decision my management and I decided would be the best move for me considering the circumstances I was under, and Port Adelaide were under,” Soldo explained on SEN Sportsday SA.

“We decided that the move over would be the best thing for my career to hopefully get some success over here.

“It was an interesting point with Richmond, the head coach ‘Dimma’ (Damien Hardwick) had left and there were a few blokes retiring.

“Obviously, there was communication from Richmond throughout the trade period that they wanted to retain me, but with the discussions my manager and I had across the year, we were always looking elsewhere to see if another opportunity could come my way.

“When it eventually came down to it, it was that this would be the best move for me.

“We got to that decision, it took a while, but we got there.”
