of course not. if he wanted to make contact to the head, he would have ended up missing him, given murphy lowered himself to the point of contact.

if he's looking to make contact to the head he would have been leaving the ground or throwing a punch to his face... similar to murphy throwing a punch to his throat that kicked off the entire episode.

you can't seriously believe caminini foresaw murphy lowering himself into the contact?
leaving the ground.... you mean like the back of his back foot here? & mate, its not just me who thinks it was intentional. The AFL sent it straight to tribunal for 4+ weeks...... if this gets overturned, I'll apologise, but if it doesnt, will you admit you were wrong?

ummm yes... you honestly dont?
No, and this is one thing most people in the media have agreed on.

I doubt there are many out there that believe Caminiti set out to deliberately hit Murphy in the head.

But it's clear he intentionally hit him

Its just up to the tribunal to make a ruling on whether intentional means he intentionally hit him in the head or just intentional hit him

He's actually a great lad, and has had concussion issues before, which your boy hasnt helped. You all happy with that? The AFL obv arent, and amid the McCartin issue and class action lawsuits, your boy is in trouble. Screaming out to be made an example of, and likely will be
Your boy, using your vernacular, instigated the action by side punching from behind. This is the view of nearly every independent observer. Caminiti turned to remonstrate with him and then your boy buckled and dropped his head. Weird reaction. The only reason he has been charged with intensional is the distance from the play.
I’d suggest Murphy have a good hard look at his own actions of hitting people from behind before he starts in on anyone else. Very very poor.

Not sure having one heal slightly off the ground is going to play any part in the discussion tonight.

That's called walking dude

That's a silly thing to even bring up 😂

How many forwards get niggled by defenders in football... 100's. How many forwards retaliate with an elbow to the face behind play...... thats the cheap shot. He'll have plenty of time to think about it though
How many players hit oppo in the head from behind. Niggle bollocks.

You can see if you slow down the replay that there's no way Caminiti was trying to hit him in the head, Murphy drops his head about 1 foot in less than a second and Caminiti has already started swinging his arm towards him at chest height before he drops.

oow, and look here, Caminiti is actually lower than Murphy, before he leaves the ground to collect him head high. Sorry, but whilst Murphy does crouch down a bit more to meet him, did you instead expect him to jump at the same time........ StCicatriz

In spite of the Caminiti / Murphy issue causing a bit of tension between us and Pies fans I still want Collingwood to destroy Essendon next round in a way that makes Essendon want to seriously reconsider ever playing AFL footy again.
I don’t there is no lower level than the foul mouthed malcontents that we encountered last Sunday.
I really hope that Mason Cox gets his chance to play Saints. Think there may be a few that remember his comments and his buddy Murphy.
