Great win that one, was a tough slog and looked like the Dogs would run away with it late but the kids stood up and seized control.

Butters BOG, he was superb all night. Horne-Francis stood up in the last quarter, that was a amazing effort & Marshalls goals were as clutch as it gets. Also Aliir again, his last two weeks have been fantastic and great to see.

Really enjoyed that win.

Twice they came. We stopped them both times.

Coming from behind is tiresome. We let them out of steam.

Great effort with some really impressive individual performances but that was probably the wettest home game since what, Richmond in 2010? I thought we played a pretty good wet weather game and the Bulldogs massively overused it.

Butters was incredible and has played 2 elite games in a row. JHF elite when it mattered. Hot Toddy clutch. Jonas and Lycett should be spending some time in the SANFL.

Whatever feelings there are towards Hinkley aside, thats a great reading of the moment for any coach to have a one-on-one with JHF.

I agree with all that except that Ken had anything to do with Horne-Francis' last quarter. The more I see Ken on the bench out of the way the better

Think our backline did a strong job. Only player that hurt us was weightman, but everyone else off the top of my head was well held.

Lol **** lycett off. We instantly looked better once he was gone. His useless hitout numbers where he’s hitting it down inside the contest, clearance numbers where he’s just blindly kicking it out of a stoppage or handballing to another player inside the contest are a mirage. They look like something but they’re not.
