After losing the Don's game that we should have won, and having not knocked off the Cats as a bonus win we really need to nail a win tonight to get back on track if we wish to play finals.

Let's be honest, it all comes down to who has the best Garcia. I hope the coaches do the right thing and leave them one out in the goal square for the entire match.

Anyone have a copy of the Saints song in mariachi version???

Sharman to kick 6 tonight.
Bloke should focus on getting six disposals first.

I'm pretty worried about his development. He just doesn't have any presence or competitive fight. When was the last time he made a good lead inside 50? The majority of his marks are floating into packs. Fumbles way too much as well.

His football smarts and his elusiveness, the things that caught the eye when he first came in, haven't been around for a while.

He still has time but he is going to find himself stuck in the twos very soon with Hammer showing something and Hayes getting closer.

Named in the starting 18.
Hayes and Doog available.
I know he hasn’t had a lot of the ball but possibly doing a lot of unheralded work on the outside of the contest. I know his running numbers are high.

Sharman has some form.
Just to be a menace, gonna ask this.
How many good games has Hayes played for us?
I am gonna say one complete blitz debut game, and a few solid quarters thereafter.
That is all.
The hype and hope that have followed him and the 'hypo-legacy' is really a sign of our hope. The quick contract too.
I really hope he is good and Marshall does need some Jason Blakery action. But really? On the basis of exposed form, Hayeshas an aura that seems really a little out of whack with reality.

I think any time King is out of the side short-term, then the marking forwards in the team should be on notice. Last time no one came out when King returned.

I don't think you can play all three of Hayes, Caminiti and King in the team, and perhaps two is a stretch.

Having said that, Sharman would want to have a good game tonight. Dan Butler too.

Bloody hell the Dogs are getting absolutely caned in the media. Kornes has written today that Beveridge should be sacked and replaced by Matthew Egan, Leigh Matthews has come out and said English is soft. I have a feeling this will only go one of two ways. Either all the rumours of Beveridge having lost players are true, they are uncompetitive and this will be the first nail in his coffin or they come out like its a grand final and pump us. 🤷‍♂️

unfortunately , the latter might prevail. however, Ratts last game at Carlton against the saints, before he was sacked, he lost.

Sharman just needs the bloody marks to stick and he’d be a weapon. Same for King though, TBH.

That is completely fair. And well said.

I'm not saying Hayes is the messiah. Maybe he is the answer and quite possibly he isn't. But he will certainly get a crack unless Sharman starts performing.

Sharman is just really frustrating me. Maybe being moved around the field so much is unsettling him? The things that I really liked in Sharman in the early days, I'm not really seeing them anymore. Aside from getting a bit of the pill against Richmond.

I know he has spent a bit of time on the wing and down back but six tackles, two goals and zero goal assists in five matches is not really doing it for me. He needs to have more impact in matches. RTB has faith in him clearly after not dropping him after last week's match. Let's hope we see a bit more.

Generally, clubs under the pump hit hard for the first quarter or two.
It’s about managing that period. Matching and then being ready for one big swing back which should knock them out.
