Yep, this one hurt a fair bit... 59 point difference in the end, when it was only 16 points before Dunks' injury. Another sh*t week awaits me thinks. Only way to turn it around is to have someone like Zerrett close the gap and get a 120+

Zerrett or Grundy C? I think Grundy is the only one capable of going 140+. Would captain Gawn if I had him. Can't see Zerrett going 140+ unfortunately, has quiet patches which you can't afford.

If there was one player I couldn't afford to lose it was Dunkley.
Forward line has 0 depth as is. I could legit be playing 6x rookies there next week.

Yeah it’s not great at the moment but I’m not a fan of picking any of the other “premo” forwards yet. Just going to stack the mids and backline and leave forwards till last, not enough consistency from anyone. Dusty is my last remaining genuine premo up there and he’s shaky as well. Ziebell is a possibility if he backs it up but will be a very high price for someone I wouldn’t be comfortable spending that much on. I think it’ll be Dunkley to a 800k mid at this stage

Taranto? Not so much. Just 17 of his 104 points tonight came after the half way point of each qtr. Actually incredible, it does show room for improvement but FMD he can fade like the best of them

Hopefully Gawn can pump out another 130 and mitigate the damage from missing the Macrae VC.

Dunkley is a dagger but at least he's gonna be 820k. Can jump on Treloar or Neale and make a little bit of cash.

Was tossing up whether to put the VC on Dunks or Crae. Let my partner make the decision for me and she chose Crae!

Same here. Hoping a lot of coaches were the same and went with the shiny new toy in Dunks, rather than sticking with Macrae (like a lot of us should of)

Idun's 72 on the bench is exactly what I needed though, as it covers for trading Fanta out by leaving Clark on field (he won't be sub), and it allows me to get Crisp in/lock in a guaranteed decent score. Hopefully that alone makes up 20 or so points on Macrae's VC score.

EDIT: Checked Twitter, only 16% VC/C'd him this week, because of Dunkley's score last week. Recency bias is real, but that definitely helps that it's not like 30% or anything ridiculous

Happy I stuck strong with Crae C this week as I thought he was due for a big one, got lucky and paid off. Dunkley injury is frustrating from a fantasy perspective, however I wouldn't be too stressed as majority of good teams will be dealing with him as well.
