Round 6 Trades

My side's in absolute disarray. Ended up going Gibbs > Hartlett, Fyfe > Murphy and sent Heppell to the bench. I hate sideways trading but I literally have no other option. FMDT.

could be worse.. Goodes, Heppell, Gibbs, Pittard and Plowman out.. 1 player short for this week by the looks of it :(

I was all set to trade in Heppell for Gibbs...now I don't know who to trade in. I'm not sure I can justify Birchall at $526k and am unsure on Waters/Hanley. Already have BJ and Hartlett, so its going to have to be one of those 3 i think. Grimes is looking terrible at the moment and I don't think Burgoyne will last.

for the first time this year FMDT. heppel, gibbs, goodes, pittard with only stevenson and frost on the bench. looks like 1 donut coming up. ( F U Heppel, couldnt u have your rest next weekend :mad:)

That's a fine looking frog. Maintain it's diet and you shouldn't have to trade it in.
Anyone worried about Heath Scotland named second last on extended bench,

Chance of being rested against Melbourne???????

I would rather bring him in over Hartlett
I'm slightly worried that if we're up a big margin he could get the vest.

Then again we should be looking to pump the games into him after he missed the start of the season and without Gibbs, along with Yarran playing forward it shouldn't happen. We'd have no one playing that sweeper role.

I'm still going Gibbs->Scotland. I'll see you in the vent thread.

No the 3 players that miss out can come from anywhere, not necessarily from the bench. It is usually the bench though.

I believe that it is an AFL requirement that the 3 omissions come from the bench unless a fielded player is injured. Whereas the sub can come from anywhere...

i'm in the same boat, and since I have nobody on the bench to cover him if he really doesn't play, I have to go Harlett instead of Scotland now, even though I really want to bring in a Blue player since they have an easy draw coming up...

scotland apparently in the Northern Blues squad this weekend along with rowe. (carlton fans have NB teams up on the carlton board under Blues vs melbourne

Im a realist and know I have no chance at the big prize, focused on winning my cash league so it's a long term game plan from me, Im improving my team and generating cash flow with my trades and not sideways trading to avoid 2 zeros, hopefully pays off at the pointy end :)

Gibbs --> Hartlett

Dangerfield (goodes to mid) --> Birchall

Wanted Scotland, Birchall is a bit pricey :( could go Hibberd but that makes for too many essendon players. Got no backup for midfield or defense if I have a late out.

My defense is pretty strong now with Birch, Goddard, Hartlett and Heppell. Need to get stuck into renovating mids next week.

With the backline going to crap this week will probably do this now this week:

Goodes -> Vlaustin
Moloney -> Hartlett

Next week:

Dwyer -> B.Kennedy?
Wines -> Watson

Would leave my team as follows:

Goddard, Heppell, Gibbs, Hartlett, Hibberd, Stevenson (Pittard, Heath)
Swan, Ablett, Watson, S.Selwood, J.P.Kennedy, O'Meara, M.Jones, Vlaustin (Neade, Crouch)
Cox, Goldstein (Rowe, Currie)
Rockliff, Bartel, Johnson, Lewis, J.J.Kennedy, Mayes (B.Kennedy, McAffer)
