It may be just me in my semi-drunken state but i thought Myers improved a hell of a lot tonight. A couple of really good chases and hard ball gets.

I agree with all of this which is impressive as I am not semi-drunk. I do think Myers was better but having said that he still makes too many bad choices even if they aren't actual errors. Also while I don't think he is too slow for AFL (and he looks hampered currently compared to last year), I do think he is too slow if we want a fast and creative HB line to really make our gameplan come alive. Honestly, even though he is a first year draftee I was more impressed with Tyson Slattery on the HBF during the NAB cup than I have been with Myers (even though Slattery had a couple of shanks in the NAB he just seemed nervous, from what I have seen he seems to have kicking just as neat as Myers but has more run and creativity).

Maybe it's just me, I do think Myers has plenty of talent, I just don't like him on the HBF.

Your kidding yourself if you don't have Jobe as our best. 36 possessions with 80% game time? Only 2 clangers as well, I'm not too sure how you can't have him as our BOG.

I thought NLM was good. Persisted all night and kept his head up. I was encouraged by Myers' effort, thought he played pretty well and showed a lot of promise. Winderlich was good, and Hooker played very well for a first gamer with such a great burden on his shoulders. I've been saying it from the start- Pears is going to be a player for us. Hocking was good too, needs to work on disposal though and I don't like him and Jobe in the centre at the same time.

Watson was our best, Winderlich got us into the game but I can't think really of anyone else.
I don't think NLM played a good game, a couple of bad turnovers.
