I think a big part of that is that we were the “family club”.In 2019 Simmo needed to make a statement to ALL THE FAMILY MEN that it’s a new year and we are starting again so earn your spot! But he didn’t and he hasn’t for four years! Now here we are!, i said at the start of this year that this year would show wether or not Simmo can really coach.I think we are getting our answer.

This is the worst Eagles performance I have seen since... Last week. Having our star midfield back is really paying dividends.

In reality Williams, Harry (sorry) Waterman, and coy are WAFL players at best and never will be more.
Many are just plodders and C grade at very best and almost not fit for AFL footy. They are lost but its a savage game.
JD opted out of a pre season and will be unfit to play all season - selfish idiot.
Jk is beyond cooked.
Hurn struggles but we need his body.
Ryan and Rioli are cherry on top players and not much value when we are belted.
Shuey is in his retirement year.
The team miss read synergy for bludging - but thats what happens when you give up.
Coaches and leaders in the end are responsible and the narative for three years has been excuse riddled. The message gets through.

Almost* feel sorry for Darling who is at least giving some sort of effort to make a contest to try and move the ball up the ground. Not quite sure about the team running a strategy which requires him to be in unstoppable 2018 R1-10 form to get the ball up the field.
