Had plans to watch this with a few mates, first game for a while we all watch together. Well thanks to McGowen Covid Mecure we wont be doing it so all watching by ourselves at home.
This will ,probably, be a game for the ages where we both play out of our skins and Eagles just get up in an absolute thriller.

Why can’t the umpires have the anti reactive bias that they have here - in order not to appear as though they are favouring the home team, they favour the visiting team instead. That was the one thing Alan Richardson did for Vic football with his ‘sound of affirmation’ crap, as though it didn’t happen in Victoria. We never get favoured at home anymore.

Yeah I think if we all mentally prepare ourselves to be 3-3 it’ll be a bit more palatable and perhaps enjoyable game if we compete or even win. Many predictions on here when we first saw the fixture had 3-3 as par (Saints and Port results swapped), so we’ve at the very least managed that. Will still be very hopeful of a win given this one was pencilled in early. Big a chance to make up for the Saints loss with “one we shouldn’t win”.
