I only want one point nailed to ones skull and that is not anyone from the MRP.

I want Waite to get it into his head... he is a leader, he is always out injured, he is toward the end of his career and he is desperately needed by his side... so grow the **** up.

I have a feeling that by career's end, we will see Waite as one of the most underachieving talent that has ever played the game.

This x 1billion.

He is arguably the most important player to our side. He is always out injured. Every game he does play is pure gold. He can't be wasting the games he is fit for, sidelined because of a stupid act.

Has really let the team down.

Waite was lucky that the Melbourne player pushed him back just as he lunged. Walker needs to pull his head in. He goes off when someone looks at him. He will have to put up with that germ Milne this week. We need Bell in the team. A big body which we are sorely missing. Rowe, Casboult and Hampson will all be doing time in the Ressies until one of them puts their hand up and claims the other big man spot.
Hate St.Kilda with a passion so any win will be very satisfying. Watters won't last long before the St.Kilda throng call for his axing especially if he remains in denial about their rebuilding.

Stuff Waite. Reward effort and don't condone stupidity.

Happy for Casboult to get the gig this week. Could do some serious damage against the undersized and inexperienced back-line.

Agree with this 100%. Scott Gumbleton dominated against them purely due to his height.

Don't bother contesting the Waite decision. Leave him at the mercy of the tribunal, deserves anything he gets for being a peabrain.

Lets hope we don't drop Cachia, he looked good, and has decent disposals, give him a whole game against the Saints better team than Melbourne and see how he goes.

Agree x10000000
Give him a full game, would love to see what he's capable of.
Hopefully he can 'Nason' Milne.

I think the kid has what it takes, is a tough nut as well and we need to give him games, big mistake to play him as a sub and then drop him. Play him all game and give him a close marking role, he seems to like the hard stuff so he would be a perfect fit, would be a disgrace if we dropped him after one quarter where I thought he did quite well and showed us a little.

If we leak inside 50s as readily against the Saints as we did against Melbourne we will not get off so lightly.

Ditto if we cough it up as much.

Has been noted that we did not get out of third gear against the Dees. I hope this is right and that we see top gear next week. I hate St Kilda and I hate that we have been their bunnies for so long.

Time to kick red black and white butt.

Ellard has much better disposal, I assure you.

MM has invested a little heavier into Ellard and wants him in the team. Would be very surprised for Ellard to go and Cachia to stay.

Casboult is starting to hunt the ball and the man, or at least at VFL level.
Not many defenders will feel comfortable knowing Casboult is close by anymore.

He's far from being a Kreuzer but his ground work is improving almost by the week which is a real surprise for me, at least.
Didn't think he had it in him to be honest.

I love Ellard and hope he stays in the team but I want Cachia to be given a full game at least before we drop him, I don;t think it's fair to have the kid play one quarter then get dropped. We had the perfect opportunity to do that against Melbourne but we stuffed that up as well by making him the sub.

What exactly did we stuff up?

I would have liked Cachia to get a full game however to suggest we stuffed up for not doing so is a huge stretch and a massive over-exaggeration.

We need to play the kids for full games in these types of games, not give them one quarter and then drop them and say ohh geez you were unlucky.

Nothing to do with kids Shatterpoint as we just need the best players involved.

Ellard, the 24 year old needs just as much consideration as Cachia, the 22 year old.

Both fighting for their football future this year and only results will stand up.

We gave full games to a number of peripheral players yesterday afternoon as we have done in every game thus far this season.

There is a fine line between getting the balance right and going too far with too many inexperienced players, regardless of who we are up against.

As I said I would have liked Cachia to be given a full game and would be all for him to be included in the side next Monday night against St Kilda but to suggest we stuffed up for not doing so is not correct.

I agree with you on that, but I still feel that Cachia deserves game time and not some shitty 30 minutes, I would drop Curnow this week, he might do a job but just lacks something, would prefer we try and get games into Cachia.

I do support the notion of giving Cachia more than a quarter to prove his worth but dropping players who are performing well is not the way to go about it.

Curnow is no star but has been brought into the side for a specific purpose and I think it is fair to say he has been doing so very well. Dropping him is probably an example of crossing that fine line I mentioned earlier.

Ed's disposal and decision making is not quite up to it. Give cachia another run

I'm happy for Curnow to stay in the side as long as he continues to acknowledge his limitations and not try to get too fancy with his disposal. Nobody runs harder than him in our midfield and imo he provides a valuable link in the chain.

Curnow will not get dropped, one of our best against Melbourne.

As long as the boys in the side are doing their job and we're winning, we won't be chopping and changing for the sake of it.
We should know better than any other side just how important continuity is.

The ball movement seems to be improving also.
By that I mean, we are starting to understand where our team-mates will position themselves in order to take the give-off.
It's something that The Swans are masters at and that Collingwood really had going for them in 2010 along with their press.
