I think, it’s fair to say, that nobody has received as much a public flogging as Will Kelly. He came on in the last (because, at this point, Krueger had become a liability) we were staring down the barrel. Fly chucked around the magnets. Kelly went to “his wing” and shut it down! The kid did the job. He even put on a critical block to allow Ruscoe to win a critical contested ball in the dying minutes on the outer wing.
When a battler plays his part in turning around a probable loss he deserves a pat on the back.

I know freddy is a bit rusty but he gives us a tall presence up forward. I liked him and Frampton changing ruck and forward when we needed to a presence up forward . I doubt he gets dropped, he gives us structure

Cox isn't even running yet and there's going to be a fair gap between him getting the go ahead to run and him getting the go ahead to cop a 100kg knee to the guts in a ruck contest.

I also remember, I’m not too sure many did?… but Ruscoe drilled a ball perfectly down Ginnivan’s throat in the last to set up a critical goal. Ruscoe also manned up, played on Langford when he was running hot (and got taken to the hot spot in the goalsquare) and did not drop his bundle. Ruscoe DEFENDED and USED THE BALL WELL. Defenders usually don’t get dropped when they go those jobs. He’s also a good height and packed on the muscle. Adelaide has some big units in their forward line.
The kid needs to be rewarded. Murphy, Ruscoe, Moore, Bruz with Q and Daics is good looking unit.
OK perhaps I’m being overly optimistic to think that Cox can return next week.
The Crows have a really strong set of talls, so we can’t afford to go in shorter than we did this week. So Krueger stays in and probably Kelly too, as sub.

Id expect pendles to be out this week. Adams in for him.
I think it could be interesting to see what our backline looks like with both ruscoe and murphy. I think we would still have enough players to cover and provide run.
I would consider giving Elliot a week off if he needs it and give Carmy a run in the forward line, or else JC should be the sub.

Against a team like the CrowBots, with big strong units, I don’t think Harry Houdini (aka Markov) is needed. There is no chance he picks up a Rachele, Soligo, Rankine ahead of Q, Bruz or GingerNuts Noble. Markov will get another gig when we come up against the Saints, Dees or another team loaded with small forwards.
