We really need some rebound off half back. Rance is probably our best rebounder and he is a key back FFS. Houli, too scared. Ellis, too scared.

The best bit of play from us all night was when Brandon Ellis linked up and we ran it straight down the middle to Ty. He missed and it killed our momentum, but that isn't the point. We just look so much more capable when we take it on instead of having our first reaction to go backwards or sideways. It NEVER works.

If Hardwick is staying he needs to focus on next year.

Chaplin and Morris need not play another game.

Griffiths needs to spend the time McBean has in the VFL to either value being in the AFL or just be moved on.

Batchelor needs to be dropped and told he needs to improve his fitness significantly. He looks like a fat local footballer!

Houli and B.Ellis need to either lift or spend some time in the VFL.

If we haven't realised yet Rance and Grimes have pretty much been our backline this year and last.

We need to make the tough call and either play only fast defenders or have only one slow tall defender (Astbury/Elton) to cover big forwards when we play them. Id give broad a run despite not showing much. I'd also play Lennon off half back just to get him into the team.

My team next week

B: Castagna, Rance, Grimes (Batchelor)
HB: Houli, Broad, Lennon
C: McIntosh, Vlastuin, Menadue
HF: Lloyd, Riewoldt, Short
F: Rioli, Vickery, McBean
R: Hampson, Martin, S.Edwards
Int: Deledio, B.Ellis, Grigg, C.Ellis

Why are Bazzar's posts disappearing?

Because I objected to noobes turning up and hanging shit on the club. We're all hurting, constuctive critisism and hanging shit is good, but a pathetic 10 year old childs abuse is just that, pathetic.

Guess you missed the part that I was not going to focus on the negitives as we all know them ? Yeah they were missing players, so were we, yet we give them allowences for it but not us. When we hit the front, the talk changed to who they were missing, when we went behind zero mention. Do i think we would have won the game, no, our depth is shit but its boring to just re hash the same old negative stuff.

We had 4 kids under 11 games playing...they didnt. I want to focus on those 4 boys. Rioli, Short, George, and ill throw in Manadue and Ellis too.
They are not kids or boys. They are men.

out. Chaplin, Menadue, Rioli, Batchelor.
in. Rance, Cotchin, Lennon, Grimes.

Loved Vlastuin on the ball, please leave him there. C Ellis was great.
Miles was huge. Same Dusty. Mc Intosh is better on a wing..

Bro. Stop making up shit. ;)

They had 5 players who played with under 11 games. More than us.

Brand, Lovell, O'Brien, Howe and Sicily.

Again, our defenders suck at knowing when to push up, and when to guard the dangerous space.

Leave 1 or 2 defenders about 20 out to stop the easy out the back goals. And if a long bomb does come in, it also means you have time to impact the contest.
Wasn't that Chappy's role in past seasons?
I'm sure he either guarded space or dropped in to holes.

Although he's obviously still a bit green and unpredictable, I reckon Castagna can be a player once he settles!

Game was there for the taking, but the back-to-back Grigg clangers and decision to bench Vickery for 8 mins were pretty critical.

With young legs comes fatigue and we are clearly having issues running out games. Our inability to hit the scoreboard when we are dominating is also a problem. Simply our defence is struggling and our offence cant get near 100pts so things not looking good. I just hope Hardwick persists with the kids as the more games he can get into them the better. Players like Chaplin, Batch, Morris, Houli need to make way as they are clearly not the future.

Turns out the defence personnel is not a glaring deficiency when you win the clearances! Despite lacking quality defenders they looked ten times better for the first 3QT without being bombarded with I50 entries all game. Apart from all the easy goals that leaked... But there's not as many when the midfield puts up a fight!

Put it this way. A team will never win the premiership with Grigg, Houli, B. Ellis, Chaplin, Morris (even though he tries his heart out), Hampson, Batchelor in their 22. Why don't we start the cleanout now? What are we actually gaining from playing them? A few cheap wins and a worse draft pick? Please

Well hardwick was hoping for a turnover to get us back on track. But it's over now, forget finals
