Ok,I have calmed a bit,I am loving the way Jesse is moving,I didn't think he was that quick..Barlow has had enough chances bring in Vez,Goodsey is goin great,Kirky is doing well,Mcveigh is a bit quiet,Bradshaw is up against 1 of the best but he can still have an impact. If the Yellow maggots stay out the 2nd half we can still win..we need to stop Chapman & SOG

You're a chance if the cats keep playing like this.

Cats have 6 gears and they're in 3rd/4th at the moment.

Really need to pick it up.

Good luck for the second half.

And since when did Goodes start coughing up the ball? Six turnovers in the first half !!

What do we have to do. Is Bradshaw to the backline an option? He has been quiet forward so maybe to work him into the game a little. I dont think that teddy is good enough as a 1 on 1 defender great at being the gap fill though. Maybe Bradshaw could do some work on Pods who is killing it.

2 young guys who have impressed me are Jetta and Jesse. Jesse has led hard and strongly all day so far and Jetta has looked to be pretty cool headed out there (aside from that horrible clanger in the 2nd quarter on the wing/HFF) and has found space quite a bit.

I agree with this - there have been a few positives, but against Geelong the negatives (and there were plenty in the second quarter) just seem so much worse.

Umpiring is always horrendous at Skilled... The AFL needs to mention to the umpires not to let the crowd into their decision making. I know it'd be hard but at the end of the day they need to remain neutral... Something I don't think they've been thus far today (as is becoming the norm at Skilled it seems).

Apart from that, I hope the boys can come out heads high knowing they're good competition thus far. Hope we lift and get some cleaner supply into the fwrd line... Braddles needs to light it up with a few contested grabs imo.

Kennedy has done a few good things in close as well.

Yeh i thought so too. Not heaps of the ball but when he found it he normally did well with it.

Very true.

The team as a whole hasn't been disappointing, and at least we're still in it at half time. But some very poor disposal into our F50 as well as a couple of crucial ****-ups (Goodes included) is holding us back.

Missing Hanners and LRT out there. Replace Richards and Barlow with those two and we'd be looking far stronger.

also McGlynn and Bolton, buts thats life

Bradshaw used to be a very solid option in the backline at the Lions but i'm not sure if he is mobile enough for it anymore.

Been a few 50/50 calls from the umpires going Geelongs way. I suppose it is to be expected when you have the home ground advantage! Few that i haven't even seen! The couple in the middle from the re-start, the one to Pods from 45m out and the one to Chapman on the wing.

The glaring one that i was fuming about was the Goodes one in the 1st qtr when they reveresed the mark. I probably would have thrown the remote had they payed a free to Bartel up the other end a minute later.

Think we're still a chance if we're a lot cleaner across half forward. Their pressure around that area in not allowing us to hit up targets has been great for them. Perhaps we should run and carry a bit more, but it's pretty high risk especially against Geelong.

Richards. Should have swallowed that mark just before HT.

Barlow. Spud. How does this bloke still get the opportunity to get a game?

Phew... Ling missed that goal..... Thankyou!!!

Where's the free against Milburn!?!?! Kirky just got bloody flattened and nothing? Crap umpiring... really REALLY filthy with this umpiring.

EDIT: Then they give Barlow the free kinda as a "oops we made a mistake better give you one now". Bullshit. BOTH were free kicks. Glad Barlow got that goal though.

Nah that was fine dude. Perfectly legal hip and shoulder. Though i am as ropable as you are with the umpires helping out the Cats.

Hahaha... Yeah, I'm just getting too worked up with it that's all... I'm calling everything a free :p

Cats are bloody good and our injuries are hurting us... Had we had Bolts, Seabs and co. this week I reckon we'd be right up there right now. Goodesy REALLY needs to lift. He's the key if we're a chance.

****WTF!!! Scarlett just pushes out Braddles!!! WTF WTF WTF WTF!!!!!!! &&$%@!!!!
