Cheaper than both, lower BE than both and averaging higher than both. As I said, my concern is that he's injury prone, but if he stays fit then yeh I reckon he's better than those two.
Bit of a risk but we'll see how it goes!
Bit worried about the smaller sample size but yeah he's definitely appealing, handy bye week for me as well.
Yeah is tempting. Half-back/midfield so role seems appealing. Only went at 80ish in the VFL though so maybe it's worth waiting a week and seeing how he goes considering he's 30k more than Larkey/Answorth with a higher BE.

Understandable. I had Stewart earlier in the week, then have had Houli for most of the week, changed to Hurn yesterday, now back to Houli. I don't like changing trades at the last minute so think I'll stick with this.
STOCKER to debut. I can't afford him with my current trades, but otherwise I reckon i'd go him over Answerth.
Looks like a good downgrade option next week if he shows up and gives a good account of himself this week.
Seem to have avoided the carnage, or at least have the trade ability to fix it up. Not set on my trades yet, but should go into the round only playing Hore, O’Brien, Ross and Walsh as rookies...

Don't have Whitfield and no other obvious issues to fix apart from M.Parker in fwd line.
Would of like to get in Laird but there's no decent Mid rookies that I don't have for Constable to go to.

I'm weighing this up too, Stocker will play defence in Newman's position i think.
And if carlton's defensive scoring is anything to go by, he might rack up a bit actually.

I get the feeling like both of Answerth and Larkey could be Red Herrings.
I'm thinking now of 'minimizing' the risk and getting Answerth and Baker. Gives me a week on Larkey and prevents from deleting my team if both get dropped next week.
Scrimshaw and Constable to make way. Unfortunately because they're both solid rookies but holding both and trading guys who are actually playing seems a wrong decision.

Scrimshaw to Yeo - via a convoluted system of DPP swaps...
Based on Setterfield playing. Have kept Whitfield.
Upside: Libba and Walsh are now M7 and M8 respectively.
Rozee at D4, Duursma at D5, Hore at D6
Downside: need to field Drew, Setterfield and Baker up forward.

Given other trade needs I haven't had a chance to properly assess Menegola... and after just reading back in last years threads I see that he was very very solid (more so than I thought, but validates why I originally selected him). I have only watched a handful of cats games this year and he seems to bob up a fair bit but it must not translate well in the fantasy world. Is he worth a long term hold? He's lost 140k which sucks but I just love watching him play so I don't know if I could pull the trigger on ever trading him out anyway. Was just wondering what others' thoughts were on him long term this season?

Going to have to keep Libba and trade Constable this week after the carnage.

At the moment I have constable into Answerth as it adds a handy DPP link. Then drew becomes Telly. Gets a rookie off my field which is handy but means I keep someone like Stack on my field. Can’t quite figure out which rookie is worse to have playing out of those two

I think the makeup of geelongs team has changed so much with their youth coming in. As a result Mena seems to have been hurt the most by it. I think you’ve kept him this whole time, you may as well stick with him because he won’t lose a great deal else. Always the chance he bounces back as well. I think Shadow89 and Gunf are best for cats related questions though

I said the same thing about Libba last week and he was going to turn into Laird this week until Scrimshaw and Constable got dropped. Fingers crossed he gets 80+ this weekend or his 200k price rise will drop 25k and his BE will soar.
