Me personally would be getting rid of dead weight like Balta/Burgess (Scrim will be back next week and i think Constable is out due to opponent not form)

Hmm yeah fair. I have $491k to play with if I get rid of both of them so could get in Larkey but not sure who else?
Or I could go Burgess and maybe constable out and have $731k to play with ($531k once I bring in Larkey).
Any suggestion with what do with that cash?

Burgess yes, Balta no.
Every week I think I'll trade Balta out but when it comes down to it, he's not worth moving on at 200k. I've got as much trust in a guy like Balta to score 50+ this week as Larkey. Too sidewaysish for mine to move him on. As long as he's getting games I've got no issues with holding him.
Current thinking:
- Rozee -> Larkey
- Constable -> Jelly
Which means I...
- hold Whitfield, Scrim, and Libba for at least one more week
- field Duursma or Stack at D6
- field three of the following at F4-F6 (gross I know): Setters, Larkey, Drew, Petruccelle, Gibbons. (Also got Danger, Telly, Worp.)
I'm far from thrilled about that forward line, but the only viable premo that I see is Boak, but surely he actually cops some heat from Collingwood this week? (Billings has looked good but the Saints' draw doesn't, and Steven out can't help.)
Am I being a fool? Should I just be getting Boak?

I agree. My issue is that if I get rid of Burgess (instead of say Scrim) I can only get to about $530k which is an awkward middle ground to be in.
Would mean I would probably be double downgrading to Larkey / Answerth and banking cash for next week. But I’m just not sure if either of those guys are that appealing as rookies?

Does Horse send Hewett to Neale or Zorko this week?
Zorko is more damaging and the easier to tag but Neale has been on fire.

You’d want both eventually so can’t go wrong either way. Depends what the extra 100k would be used for.
I'd say there is a strong chance that he gets dropped this week, if Parfitt is an inclusion. That's on the basis that there really isn't a position for him right now. He used to own that high half-forward position, but both flanks are Dahlhaus' and Ablett's right now, and they're dominating. The midfield is far too stacked, and Guthrie's best position is there where he's flourishing, so there's nowhere there for Menas either. Right now, I'd say he's the most at risk of being dropped, given that he's sort of just floating around from position to position right now. Hasn't been horrible by any stretch, but some of our guys have been so good thus far, that the 80% that he's going at, just isn't enough to lock down a spot.
You'll find out with selection tonight though, as him or Atkins will be who makes way if Parfitt does return. I'm in the mindset though, that he's not gonna score the same as previous years, as he won't be getting the mid minutes or goals he needs to bump up his score

I have no idea and do not have any desire to get in to Horses head. If I had to get in his head Id say Zorko as he has shown to be taggable.

I picked him last week. Bargain price at the moment. Hawks look to get the ball in his hands more often than not, and especially on switches since he has such a good kick on him

Changed my trades around. Constable the less likely to come in compared to Scrim based on my reading.
Rockliff the cheapest of a good bunch of midfielders.
Really would like Larkey but that might be my bias. Also better to keep some points in the team (whitfield and rockliff would score similar).
Edit: 470k in the kitty.
I just can't stand the idea of having that head in my team...Just such a tool, lmao
