Kelly for sure. He's copped a lot of pressure from oppositions and stood up through all of it (plus a knee/ankle that looked pretty average when it happened), still scoring near 100. I think he's ready for a big one (or a big few) v soon, so for the price difference I think it just has to be him.

Yeah I'm shaking in my boots at that thought. Brissy board seem to like Answerth but I feel he played Bailey's position last week and it's only a matter of time before Bailey is back in

I kind of agree and also the suspension danger with Silciy, but I reckon hes still prob top 6. I now have him and Oliver in my team this week so Im just going for the most liked team overall now.

I actually feel like he has pulled his head in a little since last year. Significantly less outbursts on the field this year and almost appears calm at times...

He’s coming into my side this week, love watching him play, and he’s genuinely a good user for the ball. I think his poor on field decisions that lead to suspensions has been cut out of him aswell. Much more level headed now.

Couldn’t agree anymore with this, it’s a credit to him and Hawthorn for taking it out of the game, I rate him as one of the best small/medium sized defenders in the game.

Sicily or Stewart this week? Still feel a little uneasy on Stewart for 671 but haven’t seen many Geelong games. Is he getting most of his points from intercepts and back half possessions or is he getting right up the ground ala Laird and just hanging off the back of stoppages?

Yeah right that's awesome insight. When are the actual teams for the weekend announced? That's pretty sad. I love watching him when he's in full flight, probably my favourite player. Might have to move him sooner than I thought then if all of the things you said are the case (gets dropped, permanent role change etc). With that said, it's sad because I will have to bring in Seagull Lloyd at some point who pads stats and who is awful to watch in my opinion, and I'll probably have to part ways with Mena.

I need help. If I trade Parker to Larkey (sitting on my fwd bench), I don't have enough money to trade Constable to Telly who would slot into my forwards throwing Drew into the mids bench via DPP. I'm 10k short. I need to select a fwd rookie UNDER 190k....
Other options instead of Larkey:
- Corbett; potential to be Burgess 2.0 without the DPP. Can't be that bad though, surely?...
- Moore; job security is an issue
Does anyone see any basement rookies in the forward line coming through soon? If so, I would be forever grateful if you could shed some light on who?

Yeah he's definitely good to watch when he's on, but I think our even spread sort of curtails that at the moment.
Teams get announced around 5:00PM, so you'll have a heads up about 3 hours or so beforehand

I wouldnt be guessing who 'eventually' comes in. Fraught with danger.
Do you have any other forward rookies with a bit more value you could trade instead. Guys like Drew/Petrucelle are only 1-2 weeks away from culling anyway so I'd recommend dropping on of those 2 for Larkey instead of Parker.
Can't trade someone in like a Yeo in the mids, Daniel or Zak Jones (via Duursma DPP if you have him/throw Drew forwrd) in, to get Larkey?
Alternatively can just get rid of Drew instead, as he's pretty much at peak price, and leave Parker for the meantime?

I'm honestly astonished that people haven't had either Boak and Kelly (or both) on the field since round 1. I've been laughing hard at the majority of people ripping their hair out picking guys like Dunkley, Heeney etc

This looks much better. Flick Rozee to the backline pushing out scrimshaw. Put atkins forward to trade in rockliff (or macrae/treloar/neale).
Allows me to field drew also.

Don't have Petrol and unfortunately if I trade Drew, it means fielding either Parker or Larkey which is probably worse than picking up someone like Corbett.
See above. That's what makes the decision a little tricky. Fielding Parker/Larkey is going to end in tears.
Might actually play around with a particular mid or defender instead. Guess I had my heart a little set on Telly...
