Something I want to ask - is it really the end of the world if we are that much better with Paddy in the team? I see people saying stuff like “we shouldn’t be hanging all our hope on a 34 year old ruckman” but I say why not? If he’s that good then it makes sense to hang our hopes on him. The difference he makes to our team is phenomenal.

If Paddy Ryder is able to save our season I’m going to ask him to have a look at my marriage and see what he can do.

What is it about this club that keeps us coming back for more?

Suns have a very tall backline considering we’ve fleet of smalls. Butler, Higgins, Billings and Resting Mid. Our talls are also very good on the ground too, especially Max King.

Only selection I would query is Joyce but he did OK against Hawthorn and I can understand them sticking with a settled winning team.

He will need to perform well though with the likes of Carlisle, Frawley and Highmore all possible inclusions for next week.

Gold Coast are no slouches, and we always struggle against them.

We've won 5 straight against them, and before last year's 1 win, we were largely beating them with a rabble. While we've played close games, we're always coming out on top. Hardly a team I'd say we struggle with.
