The bad news for you guys is that you are getting the Pies after we got our pants pulled down by Carlton. You could say that the Giants will be fired up after losing to the Saints, but the Pies going down to Carlton.. especially after they had the high against Geelong. The entire club from Eddie down would be filthy.
I don't know if the Pies will have the skill level in the forward and backline to beat the Giants, but I think they will be breathing fire and give it their all. Toby and Haynes are massive outs for the Giants but you still have those big forwards that will trouble the Collingwood backline. I think the only way Collingwood can win is if they play spare men back and hit you on the rebound with Wells and and Varcoe (if he can come back in). We really missed these guys against Carlton. Schade will come back too to give us some height in the backline, but Patton and Cameron worry me being a Pies fan.
You guys are +5.8 on the I50 differential. Great midfield, bad forward line and defence.

I think your only chance is if your midfield comes out so fired up they really dominate and go for +10 or more inside 50s, like you did against Geelong a couple of weeks ago, and GWS last year. It's certainly possible. But GWS will be fired up too.

My impression of Collingwood so far this year is that they cannot handle the 'favourites' tag. They disappoint against the lesser sides, and surprise against the better ones. An arm-wrestle again till 3/4 time.

Looking good for a big crowd..

Collingwood lift their tackle pressure against us every time. I'm expecting no difference this week. If we overuse it we will lose. Also, if we don't improve our forward pressure we will lose.

Collingwood are going to win the warm-up so hard, you don't even know, warming-up the house down. Goal kicking accuracy is high, loose balls are gathered with ease etc. Bucks will have a kick and even the ball will say "Nice one Bucks" with a wink.
:DWe've told Heater the same rules apply, even with Magpies colours in town.

I'm super excited for this game. It'll be my first match attending live for the year!

I am hoping that we bounce back, but not very confident just the same. :(

Injuries and our poor form against Collingwood doesn't bode well for confidence.

Here's hoping!

Surely it can't be that full can it

If it is there is a big chance our fans get outnumbered

Our chance to be louder

And drink 4 litres of Pepsi Max...............

I am very interested to see if anyone knows what I mean by this

We're on a hiding to nothing wth this one. They screwed up their 125 year anniversary, against of all teams, old foe Carlton. Emarrased themselves on the big stage. So they'll be pi$$ed at that, want to atone.

We're the newbies, what right to we have to exist in felafel-land? They've never lost to us. We don't play well against them, closest we got was 8 points three years ago. They are not going to serve up what they served up last week.

And now they'll be playing for Lou.

Will drinking 4 litres of Pepsi Max help us understand?

Hard to disagree, we need to be switched on this week.
