Turdin -> Clark
Daicos -> Cripps
Stewart might be a better upgrade to Daicos than Cripps. Clark can hold down M8 for now. Seems a waste having him on the bench. But gee, Cripps is cheap.

Who to upgrade this week is the big question.
Daicos/Martin- have they peaked? One more? Or even hold for bench cover?
NOD - were the two 100's a fluke? Seems like a score under 60 is more likely.
Gibcus/DeKon- probably still got some cash to make.
Ward - Think I'll have about $320K in the bank, don't know if it will be enough to get a super premo.

If I have the funds:

Berry (M8) > Clark
Hinge > Short

Clark looks like averaging close to Berry and Short is a big upgrade on my D6 (NOD), who I can use as D7/M9.

Will be tight, need Berry to hit about 390k.

Otherwise, probably Stephens or MacDonald > Clark and I'll pocket the 80k and boost next week (2 more rookies and a SP mid). May also consider NOD > Short but was hoping to use NOD as cover.

Rachele needs to be kicked into orbit and IDGAF how many rucks get injured this week, the flog is gone.

Rachele > Clark
JHF > Cripps and therefore completing...

Don't really want to burn another boost but tbh was impressed by Curtis both tonight and last week. Looks a natural footballer and should have good JS. Will think about it but with Carroll and the 102k GWS kent on the horizon may give him a miss

Any love for Petracca this week? At a fairly good price and a proven 110+ scorer. Got Macrae, Steele, Neale, Oliver, Touk and Cripps so looking for the next best to bring in this week. Not really sure who I should go and want to leave 1 more slot for the best performer coming into the second half of the season.
Thought about this too.
As I have Green + Mills vs your Touk who I decided to fade this year.

Both Mills and Petracca are just behind the big Kahoonas. And then Laird. Or a speculative pick like Parish/Merret.

As I have Mills I would suggest him. But his price for next few rounds is bananas.
For POD I would suggest Laird, I also like his low games rarely go lower than 100..
Petracca has had a few low games already. Does this means they are out of his system, or more incoming??

So to sum it up. Bugger if I know. Glad to help.

Planning trades.
Highest BE + Lowest scorer of Caldwell or Berry to Clark.
Going a week early as possibly two more downgrades available on the bubble for Round 9.
Rioli/Hamilton/Carrol prob another Ive missed. Oh yeah Gould, as long as he really exists.

May take cash and upgrade D5/D6 and bench either Daicos/O’Driscoll or F5/F6 and get Dixon back on bench. Dont think enough cashola to get a mid for M8. Which was plan.

Just not sure on final defender or Fwd players yet as no one is screaming out yet.
Gut is saying Parker or Lloyd as they have bottomed out and have past seasons of good scores.
Brain is saying Sicily. But this tastes rotten.

Most have been/are putting effort into their midfield including me, so its time to look at other obvious targets floating around.
Luke Parker
Age: 29, $475.3K, Mid/Fwd, BE: 53, Bye: Rnd 13

Since 2014: 108, 99, 112, 99, 103, 105, 106, 109.....2022 After Rnd 6: 96.3 avg.
Rarely if ever misses a game. Never "rested" or "managed". Consistently good point scorer over a full season due to that resilience, good performer in back half of season.
Average doesnt say everything....total points matters. Its why guys like Dal Santo wouldn't look quite as pretty as others on avge, but for many years sneakily held the record as biggest SC point scorer. Normally applies only to choice of starting mids Rnd 1 when far less trades were available to us, but Parker is a loose example. Set and forget.
Started big with a Rnd 1 167, then 3 stinkers in a row saw his price plummet. Recent form Rnd5 123, Rnd6 100.
No explanation has come for those 3 stinkers in a row. Likely just role experimenting with Horse moving younger guys around early season.
As season evolves/club injuries he may also go back to being 100% inside midfielder. Regular excellent performer second half of season.
If he was say $525-550K and got that MID/FWD DPP, we'd likely still be looking at him closely as a fwd target.
As "set and forget" as a FWD will get. Will climb in price this week but likely still a buy next week. Worth a peek today to decide. If not for ruckpocalypse he would have been my #1 upgrade target this week. Everyone has had too many other priorities.

Likely, injury dependent.
JHF > Clark
Turdin > Parker (unless he stinks it up)
