Neale, Zorks, Cameron, Adams, and Bailey for mine.

Fantastic to have Hippy back, several marks, a bunch of assists. Fought well, should be able to take plenty of confidence from that as a return game.

Plenty for the group to review in that second quarter. Got pantsed. Berry did well to dampen Dawson.

Crows'll be playing finals in a couple years.

Kicking a goal in the last aside, we couldn't have asked for much more from Hippy. Looks like he's ready to go up another level especially with McStay and Daniher by his side.

Two weeks in a row the commentary on Fox has been god awful. Every single potential non-decision or decision against Adelaide was needlessly pointed out and banged on about. If only they put that much analysis into what was actually going on on the field. Call the ****ing game!

Game went exactly how I thought it would. Hippy, Charlie, and Rayner were all great.

Our response after that dismal second quarter was impressive, although I think that with the quality we have we shouldn't be having quarters where we're non-competitive for such long periods of time. Hopefully, it was just a one-off. We also made a meal of our F50 entries, although I think that's forgivable given Hipwood got double-teamed for most of the night and Payne wasn't of much use.

Crows were always going to be tough to beat - we were simply classier and more composed when it mattered. Looking forward to another challenge against the Hawks.

Really good effort to win and win comfortably.

Crows pressure and general play was insanely good in that second quarter.

Give credit where it is due so credit to the Crows for that

We withstood that and showed our class by piling it on when it really counted.

Like the Swans game, I'm absolutely stoked that we took all their best punches and ended up knocking them out anyway.

Was a good victory.
Was great to see our strategy change in the 3rd to counter their loose man.
Good coaching.... and good skills to execute the change.
Hippy was great.
Rayner having good moments.
A better game from Coleman I thought.

Payne needs the game time incase another tall goes down.... leave him in

I would like to see Robertson find a spot next week. Give Prior a run in the seconds.

It was a good enough performance to beat this opposition easily which is all we had to do.

We get burnt for pace and run occasionally for periods during the game. but it's going to take a very good side to keep it up for 4 quarters because we're strong and have mature bodies to run the game out.

I'm loathe to knock Payne because I think he'll get there but for the moment he's nothing but a big body up forward who does his job if he gets in the way.

Looking at where we need to improve to topple say a Melbourne is another class midfielder. As we don't have one unless a couple that we have rotating through there can do it more consistently for longer I'm keen to get Tommy and/or Dev into the lineup somehow just to get some games into them .

Still a worry. Scoring shots even, slightly more inside 50s, less marks inside 50 and way less tackles inside 50.

Overall an even game. Difference was in the goal Kicking
You shouldn’t read too much into scoring shots. Plenty of pings from unrealistic places and repeat behinds inflate Adelaide’s total. We purposely go for better (and therefore fewer) i50 entries so our shots have a better conversion rate.

I concur.

Prior is a good player but had little impact tonight.

Time to give Dev a go.
I thought Prior was pretty good actually.
Got himself to the right position a lot, good defensively and got a fair bit of the ball, just his disposal let him down a bit today, but other than that one of his better games for the club.

Zorko was superb, his position is midfield/forward, he adds too much offensively and with his pressure to be played down back.

Hippy was fantastic considering it was first game back and straight into senior footy, looked confident in his knee.

Do we give Payne another go or go with Fullarton for a few games, or play smaller till Joe and/or Dan are back?

Hard pass on Fullarton. Payne's not great but at least he doesn't go "full spud".

We are good enough now that accuracy could win us a flag and the Suitcase is about the last person to jump on the accuracy train. Amazing turnaround on that stat alone against our recent history.

Hippy had one of the best games I’ve seen for a guy returning after 10 months. Some of the 1%ers that will yield no stats were fantastic. Charlie can credit his game to Hippy.

We had the rub tonight with the umps. We are owed a fair bit though, but not surprising that we get our night with the men in green against Adelaide and not the dogs or cats

Fullarton and Robbo have to come in for Payne and Prior

Lincs average form has continued and Kiddy was lazy defensively again but have points on the board
McCarthy was really really solid tonight. Put tons of pressure on opposition ball carriers, had 5 tackles, same as Starcevich and behind team high 7 from Lyons and The Big O. Kicked a goal and had a hand in others. I thought he played well. He showed he was prepared to do the tough, unglamorous work.

The end result was inflated a little because most teams would've been at least 2 or 3 up at half time the way they played and we got 2 gift 50's. Plus they started missing when they got an opportunity in the second half due I think to tiredness.

But any win's a good win in my book. Just keep banking them. The time to have a whinge is when we get beaten.

Hard pass on Fullarton. Payne's not great but at least he doesn't go "full spud".
I actually think Fullarton would be better as a permanent forward. We've asked a lot getting him to ruck when he's played and it's knocked the confidence out of the rest of his game.

I know he's no world beater but the criticism he cops on here I'll be prepared to hack once he fails in a suitable role.

Is Richy past it, or just out of form? Last few weeks his kicking has been far less dependable. Hope it's just something he's working through before back to his usual gun self.
He doesn't look 100% fit to me , uncharacteristically missing a few targets and I know he's no Usain Bolt but his running is down to a jog. Still racking up the posessions , hopefully we're prepping him for the back half of the year.

It went about how I would have expected. Adelaide aren’t generally a pushover but they do have some bad games like most developing teams. This week they were pretty competitive but we handled it well after half time.

Good to have Hipwood back. Rayner is looking more explosive each week. He and Bailey are increasingly our danger players, both very hard to man up on.

Adams was excellent and I thought Noah and Starc were very good.
