Re: Round 9 The Sydney Swans vs. The St Kilda Saints

It was good giving the boys the week off and letting them play a scratch match against a VFL team, but it doesn't really give us a sense of where they're at.

Walsh played well though, good marking ability and presence up forward, really liked his game.

Wouldn't drop anyone to be honest.

Maybe Grundy.

Re: Round 9 The Sydney Swans vs. The St Kilda Saints

Out: Grundy
In: Someone who isn't Grundy

I see Morton kicked yet another bag, but the players in comparable positions generally all did well today

Re: Round 9 The Sydney Swans vs. The St Kilda Saints

I for one would like to have an open and frank discussion on this topic.

I was saying it half-jokingly. But sure, I was tempted every time he made a mistake to post to point it out, and every time he did something good also point it out, just to be fair, and to tally at the end of the game how many good things he did vs. bad. But I had to go back to work.

Re: Round 9 The Sydney Swans vs. The St Kilda Saints

Who would you replace for grundy?

I've heard Cunningham maybe?

But seriously, LRT to FB, Richards CHB, and Johnson third tall, Seaby and Pyke in the ruck, Walsh, Reid and TDL up forward, Grundy in the Ressies.

Probably LRT into defence and Spangher into LRT's role, he played that position so well at the end of last season

Re: Round 9 The Sydney Swans vs. The St Kilda Saints

Good work Stat deflecting the talk away from the inevitable Bring Morton in claims

PLEASE BRING MORTON IN!! Love him as well.

And Shotties, that was intentional not an unintentional faux pas. Made a similar comment to Vonn. (May or may not have been in a completely different context.) (Nah, same context)

And yeah.. need to think of what I'll put in my sig.

Re: Round 9:::::::::::::::::::::::: The Sydney Swans vs. The St Kilda Saints

Unchanged.

Should win with St Kilda coming off two six day breaks and a trip to Perth.

Re: Round 9 The Sydney Swans vs. The St Kilda Saints

Ur lucky ur cute

but really change that shiz asap haha

AG? Cute? Isn't he like 16? Pedo_Cross is ready to do the rounds with Troll_Machine!

Re: Round 9 The Sydney Swans vs. The St Kilda Saints

Fixed.

Where's Mumford at? Another week at least? Would be interesting if he was ready this week and they had to make the choice between LRT/Pyke..

What would be interesting? LRT > FB; Mumford > Ruck; Grundy > Reserves.

;)

Butttt Mumford isn't due back until after the Bye last I heard so that saves that head ache.

If we want to be in the top 4 by the end of round 24 these are the types of games that we cannot drop. St Kilda is in pretty good form but we need to beat them.

As for ins and outs it is very hard to tell given the quality of opposition we just played and the fact that the reserves have not had their match yet.
