I'd avoid McKay with Daw's return. Ling as a young player will probably get a few games. McPherson may have already bolted.

One of the reasons to keep D.Smith is that he has had his bye, but so has Oliver.... Thoughts?

I was looking at doing
Hill(off-field) > Georgiades via Rivers
King (on-field) > Close
DSmith (on-field) > Petracca

But with your wisdom I probably should be doing
Hill > Stewart
McInerney > Close
King > Georgiades (would use Gardner but wont have enough money for Stewart, also have Sturt but he's half a chance of playing this week).
That was my original plan, but thought I need Petracca before he becomes too expensive then I saw Stewart will be cheaper next week and also want Duncan but I'm poor.

I guess really it all comes down to who will score more out of Stewart/D.Smith vs Petracca/Rookie

Thinking of the double down with Ling and Close myself. Might be in and out, but should get some games over the next few weeks and may stick around long term

All good options, I really like Daniel. But if money is important, both Hurn and Stewart are decent options. Hurn's bye is annoying, only get 1 game and then he has a bye, he's also old. Stewart will drop a bit more, but a decent option this week.

I'd go Daniel, but yeah, make a decision based on finances, because I'm assuming you want to upgrade again next week without needing to do another double downgrade.

will wait til Carlton teams named tomorrow and if Willo is somehow named will then go Taylor to George.

will give me willo as def cover for Doedee (a guaranteed 15 points there!), buda mid cover for simspson getting dropped and George or rankine as fwd cover for Walters. Not great reading but better than iced confection!

Yea mate Daniel would be awesome but would make an upgrade next week tough, also will need to go early on trades.

Only thing pushing me towards hurn over stewart is the ceiling and the fact that i have most playing next week
