No. Simpson will throw in the odd shocker, but take out those and he is a much better scorer. He is playing awesome this year!
Vince does come with a lot more consistency but you won't see him pump out the occasional big scores that Simpson can.
If I was you I'd be looking at my bye structure and making the call off that. The byes are quickly approaching and with forced trades coming so thick and fast this year you want to be prepared.

I just did a run down as even though I know it only charges me if I go past the trial date, I refuse to put my CC details in.
Forwards look a bit ****ed in bye week 1, defence is bad in bye week 2, and bye week 3 should be alright at this stage.
I haven't based my team from the start on bye weeks, I know I should but I hate byes. The less I think about them the better.
With that in mind, Simpson seems the better choice keeping the byes in mind.

Getting rid of an under performing Gaz and a spud Kommer who in reality I should've got rid of weeks and weeks ago but just haven't ever had the chance to.
This would also allow me to send Menadue to the bench. Quite happy with the direction my team is heading. Finally starting to get on top of things. Here's hoping everything goes to plans when the teams are released aye!

Its only 18 total from memory. If you have more than 18 EG: 20, your worst 2 scores are dropped.
Having said that, im still gonna struggle to field 18 players in rounds 13 and 14 with my unbalanced team :/
Would be great to know what is 100% on this, appreciate the feedback but need definitive information.

Yeah this is correct, only your Top 18 scoring players will count over the bye rounds. But your Captain will count no matter what, even if they happen to be your worst score.
Works out for me it seems.
