after a massive round! i can get another rookie off field and be down to 3 on field. and ill be upgrading Pickett.

But my choices are those bottomed out premos at 680k or less. Which im fine with, but its about choosing the right one!!

Choices
Cripps, Yeo, Sheed, Parfitt, Zorko, Weller, Shuey, Simpkin, Perryman, Dusty, Wingard, Hopper..... Any suggestions?

Cripps....just no. His BE will be huge and he is playing like a spud.

For me, it's clearly Zorko. Get Simpkin in 1-2 weeks when he drops more in price.

Brad Hill is looking very enticing now having dropped almost 200k and could get back to form? hopefully.
I think King down to Close is also a must do trade.

Love a name, so leaning towards Whit who was in my R1 side.

Other trades likely to be Starcevich and Budarick to McPherson and Close. Then Gibbons up to either of those two.

Simpkin will probably come down in price, so you could hold off on him for a few weeks. So looking like Zorko is the better choice. Or Dusty if you like a name and think he can flick the switch.

Alternatively, what about Swallow or Mills? They're both shaping up as good value picks

I highly doubt they will have rolling lockout for 2 games. Will only be one if there is one and thats the dogs v rich game. VC macrae it is again

Pretty sure I heard there will be two partial lockouts (WED & THURS)

Plus the messy rounds coming up will be full of partial lockouts so you could VC loop quite late like supercoach does.

I still doubt that but if you are right the guys up top will be laughing. 2 cracks at VC every week. Our biggest achilles were always captain choices.

It's still only 1 crack as you can only VC 1 player, just a choice of 4 teams gives more variation as to what night you use it. Blow it Wednesday and you can't VC someone Thurs.

I'll try and confirm.

I got the impression that it's continual rolling lockouts right throughout the round, because teams only get announced around 6pm the day before each game.

So in theory you should be able to use the VC loophole even up to the Saturday games this round.

But I'm thinking I'll try to avoid this VC mucking around if I can help it. With the quick turnarounds it's hard to keep track of your non-playing captains; and you miss out on bench cover, which will be important when we don't know the teamsheets at the start of each round.

Yep I’m in the same boat too. Really want to pick him but just concerned about the rest. And maybe why I go for Dusty instead of him. But I’d love to pick Zorko with confidence

Trying to rectify my dumpster fire of a Midfield (Danger, Adams, Titch, Yeo, Brouch + Rookies), where I'm looking to offload Brouch (injury) / Yeo (essentially gone for 2 games). I plan to get Duncan the following week (waiting for the $$ drop), but can you gents/ladies please rank the following:

• Zorko
• Cogs
• Any other decent mid (~700K)

A lot of the prem mids are out of my price range (i.e. Neale, Oliver, Macrae).

Any help would be much appreciated.
