Worth bringing Highmore back in? Or stick with RCD/Poulter who should have a month in them?

Worried about JS.

I'm not, but might next week if he smashes it and suddenly has decent JS

Really torn on whether to trade Bolton or not

If I keep Bolton I will be forced to play 6 rookies on field (Jordon, RCD, Poulter or Dev, Warner, Scott, Bergman) after doing Gulden >RCD and McCreery > Poulter.

I think that is one too many considering I am just outside the top 200 overall.

Other option is to get rid of Bolton and bring in Ridley (move Laird to the mids) and only bring in one rookie this week which would be Poulter.

By the time Bolton is back how many other Tigers mids will be back?

I would probably trade him out rather than hold and lose ground in your position but it might depend on how many trades you have left.

Next week it returns to normal. Pretty sure it's 6.25pm the day prior for each days worth of games for this round still.

I'm trading Bolton for the reasons you mentioned. I'm the in top 300 and if I lose Bolton and play an extra rookie I'm going to drop more

I'm not sure if RCD is a must-have, only low 60s ToG% last week, not sure he has the tank for AFL footy

Put the E on Highmore, if he somehow goes big, you can swing Fyfe to DEF to take his score, then put Laird on field in the middle for a rookie, and then you may be able to hold Bolton for a week, to see what they say next week (as the bloke who does their medical reports said, I assume the surgeon will take a look, maybe the splint will come off, etc)

With all of that, I think it's 5 weeks on your bench (best case probably plays round 12, then has his bye, returns in round 14). That's too long of a hold for me, especially considering that now was the bulk midfield minutes for Shai. He'll play more forward post bye when Prestia, Cotch and Edwards are back

Will he be as cheap as now though ......BTW your original trades replicated mine: except Warner to RCD, Highmore to Ridley, which finish's my DEF

But with Highmore playing, have to hold off a week ....the extra $60K will free up cash to go Scott to Dusty next week as well ...Ridley with a 101 BE shouldn't move in price too much

Now if Highmore gets more than one game, that throws up all sorts of scenarios ......probably means I go Kelly and Dusty next week

I wouldn't be bringing him back in. Coff and Joyce had to get dropped for him to get a game, and they were clearly the favourites before this week. Every chance Highmore gets 6 kicked on him by Hawkings/Cameron/Rohan (no clue who is getting who)

Highmore won't take any of them

Highmore will play the Coffield loose/intercepting role

Ridley is a great buy, can't go wrong.

Guess you just need to decide if you want to keep Bolton or not. I'm expecting 4 rounds + the bye out.

Harmes broke his wrist and had surgery, missed 6 rounds of AFL, I think only 1 in the VFL (even if it was 2 in the VFL, that's still 4 rounds out, which for Bolton = 5 rounds out because of the bye)

Obviously we don't know the extent of Shai's injury and what is broken, but it doesn't sound like he'll be back quickly.

I'd trade him, depends on trades left though, 6 rooks on field is at this stage when most teams have 4 really good rooks left and they may also have them looped as well with stagnating rook IN's maybe a disaster.
