Haven't you already posted two different trade scenarios about what you're going to do this week? :D

If only supercoach was based on how many times you have reversed trades you would no doubt be a millionaire mate haha. Love your work.

Original thoughts were Rowe > Poulter and Warner > SP but that d6 is vulnerable. Tough one mate.

I have a split personality hence the 2 different trade scenarios...

When do the rest of teams get announced, I thought it was today, teams completed by 5pm Friday
From next week, round 10, we revert to the old school way
This week is still crap, 24 hours before

That’s next week when they revert to Thursday teams. This is the last round for the teams to be named day before the game

Sure am mate.

Rowe > Poulter
Berry > RCD

$391,500 in the kitty. :thumbsu:

Think I'll still double downgrade even though my team sux and Ryan is out.

Gulden > RCD
Waterman/Berry > Poulter.

Not sure what to do with The 2nd trade. Berry has low B/E but doesn't score that well but could he fluke a 70 and make some more $$$?

Waterman not playing recently, could get named this week but won't know until it's to late.

I think I'm resigned to trading Bolton - I doubt he'll be back and playing at 100% in 2-3 weeks, and I'm one of the very few in the top 200 that has him, so he probably needs to go if I'm to keep pace with the leaders.

Bolton to Titch is pretty much locked in, which means one of these three rookie forwards needs to go for Poulter:
  • Warner - Means I have 203k left over, and Robertson, Bergman and Poulter/Scott on field this week.
  • Robertson - Means I have 154k left over, and Warner, Bergman and Poulter/Scott on field this week.
  • Rowe - Means I have 110k left over and Warner, Bergman and Robertson on field this week.
Who gets the cull? With no great bubble rooks coming through this week, I probably want to maximise the cash gen for a single trade upgrade next week. I'm sh*t scared of fielding Robertson, Bergman and Poulter simultaneously though.
I would trade Robertson and loop Poulter into Scott.

Do you have cover for Ryan mate?

19 trades and 48k in the bank

Little bit confused as to what to do this week and may depend on selections.

I think in defence I will have to roll with Kosi on field this week (Murphy definitely out and assume Highmore also).

Gulden and Berry the likely two out, wont have anywhere near enough to bring in a premo this week even with trading Warner & Gulden.

Thinking then a double downgrade and bringing in two of Poulter/Brynes and RCD for a combo of Gulden/Berry/DevRob giving 300-380k in the bank.

Does anyone else have any other ideas?

Quoting myself while I sit here at Brisbane airport.

With Highmore back from the dead I can utilise sharp/Laird dpp. If he scores 65+ I’ll move sharp back, if not Laird goes back this week.

Still leaning towards the double downgrade, especially if Highmore can get a solid score tomorrow night.

Kosi and Gulden/Berry to Poulter and RCD

Now four on the bubble. Traded out Highmore when he got dropped for Markov. Seems a bad thing to trade him back in, but if he was another rookie with the money he's likely to make you wouldn't hesitate. Have Chapman in the backline with Kosi and Sharp on the bench. So remedial works in the backline required. Don't want to rely on Kosi's score.

So the other spot between Byrnes, Poulter, RDC. Pushed Byrnes case but it's between him and Poulter I think.

You make a good point with double downgrading if Highmore E scores well

If Highmore scores well, I can take his score with Murphy, then double downgrade (Bolton and Warner or Kozi out for Poulter and RCD) instead of turning Bolton into a premo

I would need a 70+ from Highmore though, probably even more to be honest

HAI GAIZ <3

ok so burning through trades quicker than Nubile Films does "actresses " but, Tex gotta go and need to bring in Poult. 255k in the bank already so who wants to help me spend it ?

Tex > Titch looks like decent value then maybe Berry > Poul and upgrade Phillips who is a crab the next week

Thoughts?

so how do you see Highmore's JS from over the next few weeks?

Good point. But I think it's pretty good. Unless he has a shocker. But his form in the VFL is impressive. Two very good games. They must have had him working on stuff. To drop Coffield for him (unless you say it was for Joyce) is a big call. Don't think that's for a week. He's 23 or 24 so not a kid. In for a few I would say.

I guess it's up to him then, plays well he stays in. if he gets through to the bye happy days

In your situation if he can get 80+ or near enough it could be worth the double downgrade as there doesn’t seem to be heaps on the rookie horizon. Also gives you another week to see where Bolton is at recovery wise too.

Fingers crossed the ball spends the entire time in the Saints D50 and he just kicks it long to a contest haha
