Definitely prefer #2. You get an extra upgrade out of it, giving you a better team.

Inspirational Don. You have given me a great idea.

Grab Hendo at F9 and as he is MPP I can swapped him with Davis so he can cover for Goose. Now have $240k to spend. Can do the NicNat to Sandi trade this week.

Sandi has a BE of 130 but is up against St K's rucks. Is he likely to towell them up?

I'm having a tough time deciding between Scotland and Waite to replace Goose.
Backline is currently Goddard, Hodge, Gilbert, Enright, Hunt, Maguire, Davis - Webberley, Trengove.
Can afford both. Am thinking that Scotland will be more consistent but possibly bigger scores from Waite?

I have a sudden urge to trade Gia to Chapman instead of Medhurst to Didak... someone talk me out of it.

Sandilands, Hille (Warnock, Lobbe) is my ruck division.

I have $35k odd in the bank, is it worth taking drastic action with 1 trade left this round to avoid getting a zero, or just cop it for a week?

2. Maguire > Gilbert?

Nason will need to be traded out either this week or next given his crap score last week. There will not be a need to trade down Maguire just yet since he won't lose value while injured.

If I trade Maguire >Gilbert, then Nason and Webberley make up my bench.

Heart set on Gilbert given Saints run home during SC finals.

Nason to Gilbert (providing you can afford it). Then you can keep Maguire as your F8 cover for the year which will be handy later on.

Actually it stuffs with my head because I was going to downgrade Nason next week because he's peaked, but with a Nason and Webberley bench, if Web doesn't get back in I probably need to rethink.

Unfortunately you posted about 3 minutes too late.

Webberly out forced my hand. I ended up trading out Gray (sick of waiting for him to return) for Waite in the forward line and swapping him with Davis MPP style into DEF so I have a full side.
I got 2496 last week and the guy I'm playing in my league got 2486 so it's going to be on like donkey kong!

Yeah, went to Kennelly as all I could afford. Didn't want to wait a week because 90 points > $20k. The other option was Hams to Hunt, but then I may have had to trade again in a week or two's time.

theres no break champ thats a load of crap. he will play against the saints after the break. just a precautionary measure taken last week due to a bit of soreness.

i took a risk and traded maguire -> waite, which now lets me DP with davis. also did melksham -> gysberts which gives me enough money to bring in chapman

Bigfooty wasn't working last night but I traded

Howlett to Gysberts which would be pretty common
Then MPP Tippett off the forward line bench to the ruck to cover for Hille.

Did free up the money for Maguire > Enright though =/.

over several weeks i had been saving up excess cash to enable bringing in ablett close to finals time - but considering his value is dropping with sub par efforts, ive decided to again ignore him and go for others - so with 6 trades left i sacked a 1 game rookie off my bench, used the cash to recruit ROK, and instant success. now my other playing rookies can warm the timber for the remainder.
only 5 trades to go - is 'being careful' a good descriptive ?

Going to get Chapman this week. I have $576,000 in the bank and I will use Gumbleton OR Medhurst to trade him in. Depends on spud Medhurst tomorrow!
