Re: Round 10 - Trades

montagna and murphy or ablett and rookie?

To be honest I think it depends on the rest of your midfield and team. How many good captain options do you have? How many rookies are you starting? How many trades do you have left?

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

B: Hodge; Goddard; Enright; Goodwin; Waters; Maguire; Davis (Gram; Webberley)
C: Ablett (c); Barlow; Dal Santo; Judd (vc); Ball; Trengove (Stevenson; Shuey)
R: Sandilands; Hille (Warnock; Lobbe)
F: Pavlich; Brown; O'Keefe; Hall; Ballantyne; Podsiadly; Watts (Gumbleton; Gray)

Underlined are my possible trades for this week.

I would very much like to get Goodes in.

Thinking any of:

OPTION 1:
Ballantyne > Goodes
Trengove > Murphy (JUST short of Bartel :()

OPTION 2:
Gray > Goodes (depends on severity of injury)
Trengove > Montagna

OPTION 3:
Trengove > Goodes
Waters > Gilbee

OPTION 4:
Trengove > Goodes
Ballantyne > Franklin/Grundy

Or any other multitude of options. Hmm. $191,700 in the bank, any thoughts? 12 trades left.

Definately option 2

Re: Round 10 - Trades

So many trade options this week I could use 3:eek:

B Hodge Goddard Enright Shaw Water Goose Davis (Kennelly Webberly)
C Ablett Swan Judd Cooney Barlow Martin (Trengrove Howlett)
R Sandilands Hille (Lobbe Warnock)
F Pavlich Brown ROK PODS Franklin Dangerfield Tippett (Medhurst Gumby)

Was thinking about

Trengrove > Goodes
Medhurst/Tippett > Rohan,Playfair or Watts... leaning towards Watts at this stage.

These trades can switch obviously just depends on if I want MPP flexibility.

Dont have enough $$$ to do a double upgrade this week so Kennelly can wait.

Thoughts?

Re: Round 10 - Trades

Getting rid of cyril, been a pain in my forward line all year,
Lookin to downgrade for D7 or (depending on a few things) possible cow spot on the pine
Options are
Playfair(not sure bout him, was last week a one off, JS?) or
Watts(really impressive, good hands clean under pressure, but does he score enough, can he get some more of the pill) or even
Leroy Jetta(hit some good form and looks like he could be quite good this year plus hes a bit of a different pick)

SO
Playfair + 124,500 or
Watts + 92,000 or
Leroy Jetta

Open to other sugestions

Re: Round 10 - Trades

How about these trades
Medhurst > Watts
Trengrove > Goodes

Then MPP Goodes to the forward line... or is it worth holding onto Mehurst and trade Tippett (who has already lost so much) to Watts/Playfair/Whoever every one else is talking about:eek:

Do these trades look okay?

I'd do Trengove > Rohan (better JS than Playfair maybe) then Tippett > Goodes depending on whether you can afford such a double trade. Then you upgrade Martin in a week or two and Rohan becomes your 7th mid and your MPP.

Re: Round 10 - Trades

Possibles at the moment-
Martin -> Judd & White-> Graham. Leaves me with only about $35K
Martin-> Montagna & White -> Graham. Leaves me about $85K

Bastinac-Montagna is also doable, but with less cash left over.

Will leave me with Ablett, Dal Santo, Pendlebury, Cooney, Barlow as my other mids, and Sandilands as first ruck.

Trouble is I still have a rubbish forward line, but I can look at fixing that next week- $50K more will help with that.

Anyone?

l think watts is cheap low break-even can play forward and ruck maybe gary rohan he is 198.000 ish and is a mpp

Re: Round 10 - Trades

Shaun Burgoyne anyone? Risky but insane value if he can average 95 or better which he should be capable of if he stays fit.

I was wondering if I missed the Rohan train

But what about Medhurst then? persistent foot injury apparently and Tippett has also lost so much value.

Not sure which one:eek:

A Trengrove > Rohan or
B Medhurst/Tippett > Watts

Then whoever is left > Goodes

You haven't missed it his BE's are still neg.

Obviously Tippett and Medhurst are worries. But I think Tippett is a bigger worry as he's been crap all year, is likely to lose money this week, and the way Adel are going there's no real prospect of it turning around.

Whereas Medhurst, if he can get fit, has that potential...and unless the Pies are hiding something, it's not like he has a stress fracture, so I'd stick fat for one more week.

watts is fwd only $145 k rohan $198k mpp

rohan's BE is lower
