We cant ban him but we can give him no reason to post by treating him as he deserves to be treated.Attention seekers either dont keep coming back or start being abusive if their threads are empty.

I've not seen him be personally abusive once before. Sure, he's dissed people on their selection of horses but never personally. It's only personal abuse that can get you banned, and you won't see that from him.

I mean, he's been banned before, yet was let back in and is now worse than ever. How does that work?

There is a few unwritten laws between punters & this clearly oversteps the line. If I pass on info like this to mates I would expect a hiding.......... & for good reason. This is the last straw & any reasonable punter would agree.

Remember when he 'told everyone to get on Tower Cat' then came on afterwards and said "I BACKED ZIZOU, I JUST TOLD YOU ALL TO BACK TOWER CAT TO GET BETTER ODDS!".

This is doing the same, he obviously backed Royal Asscher in the Millions.

Sure, our money doesn't make a bee's d1ck difference to odds, but he's telling us deliberately to put money on, in Tower Cat's case, horses he know won't win, and in Royal Asscher's case, horses he knows are just as fit as his.

I know it's not in concrete rules but that's completely against the spirit of this board and fairly dirty, because alot of people took his Tower Cat tip.

Something's got to give.

I thought about deleting the thread, but the caning that he was copping from the BF punting regs was more effective and better served to show others the "quality" of his posts imo.

Any punter that takes tips from anyone on this site should know and respect that poster's opinion. If they don't, a fool and their money will soon be parted.

As stated above, I think that this thread serves a purpose and lets people know the "quality" of DJ's posts. I personally wouldn't touch DJ's tips....even with your money.

I may possibly be reading too much into it, yes, but is it needed here? He frustrates and annoys more people than he pleases (by the measure of how you're defending him, you look to be one of them). Rules aside, as I said before, if someone started a similar thread in the AFL forum, they'd have their post moved to that other board below it. If they then did it again, they'd be gone.

In DJ's case, it seems to be if he makes posts like that, it's allowed. If he makes posts like that again, it's allowed...and again, and again, and again.

I'm not asking for him to be kicked out, right now, for this specific post. All I'm asking for is a little consistency across the BigFooty forum.

I was one of the first to challenge him,initially due to his ridiculous attack on Tony Mcevoy which was nothing short of libelous.

When he fluked a couple of early winners,I was criticised for being too hard on him/them.Back then I simply asked that he tip & shut up.
I did the same with Starz,coming on here making all sorts of claims about "his followers".Gimme a break.
I got bagged for that too,it took a while but eventually they realise theres only 1 way to earn respect here.
No-one cares about their fictional claims.

If he had a shred of credibility left (and he didn't) then it was pretty shot when the horse he told us had fractured legs almost won the magic millions.
When his next post is titled "Gold Edition beaten up in a fight a Highpoint Shopping Centre", you can be pretty sure it's made up.

He barely posts anymore, so he's a lot easier to ignore now. That's what I'll be doing.
