After what would have been a heartbreaking loss - had it really mattered - to the Hawks by 2 goals on Monday, the Gorillas are taking to the road across the nation to outback WA mining town Leonora for a hitout against fellow Preseason Cup oustees the West Coast Wonders.

I expect a poor turnout as none of us likes to travel, but try to get along if you can! It's a dusty, probably hot locale so bring plenty of Chud Ice.

While our Preseason loss was disappointing, there were good signs, with new recruits PTizzle (3 goals) and kellymagic (into the ruck) both showing lots of spiwit and dewing do. Congrats on your first up games with the Roys, you two.
