I think it is a harsh penalty when the season hasn't started yet.

I'm all for the appeal. I originally thought it was a deduction from a preseason comp.

Not in my opinion, I fully and wholly support the penalty and will definitely fight for it to remain. We've always supported "rules are rules" here at the Roys ... until, what? Until it happens to us?

I don't think anyone thinks we didn't break the rules I think the issue stems from the fact that the rules effects the season proper when the fault was made in the pre-season cup.

Excuse me the intrusion. ..

Personally, I think there is room for some leniency here. .. I know list lodgement is a pre-season thing, much like AFL has it but even in AFL clemency can be sort.

The Roys should be lauded here for having a full 22 of active signed up players and I'd suggest the whole league should start with a -2 penalty for signing inactives, if The Roys are penalised for been one active player short. ..

Maybe I should have posted this in a more open forum. ..

Long story short, we're being penalized for going to the extra effort to recruit actives?

No clemency for working for the betterment of the sfa?

Sides are effectively getting rewarded for naming inactives

Yes what I mean is, the squad submission is the deal here. We did not have 22 registered players at cut-off. The squad submission issue is relevant to the season as a whole, the S15 season, which includes Preseason, Premiership season, and shit stuff like SoO and anything Deddy posts.

Squad submission is for squads from which we choose players to compete in all competitions during Season 15. So it does apply to the premiership season, and that is where penalties are most sensibly levied. No-one cares near as much about preseason.

Mayhap - some rules can be harsh for some incidents and easy on others - but if we went more individually meritorious on the rules Boncer would need more shelving.

Under my old management I would allow those who post to get the best chance at the positions thay wanted (on the ground). So while you might have posted on this thread, if you haven't yet posted on the match thread, you may end up being put "wherever".

So it's easy as to make a run at your favourite spot. But you should do at least that.

And that my friends is how I found my way to the Roys Team Thread - Season 15 (2012). Is this where I sign up to the Crusade for the Holy Grail?

My wife and I went to see the Dalai Lama at the tennis centre some 10 or so years ago. Packed house. Wife got her question read out and answered - first!

He had something to say about letting stuff go. He did part himself in broken english (rest was translated), he intended to say {something like} "If it doesnt work out for you, forget (it)."

His accent made it sound like: If it doesn't work out for you, **** it.

Crowd went nuts.

I had a Nepalese taxi driver the other day. I don't mean I had sex with one, I mean, one was driving my taxi. That was awesome.

I also have seen some cool movies from up that way: "Travellers and Magicians" (Bhutan), and a brilliant one called "The Cup" (also Bhutan). Seriously recommend.
