The fact that he was killed barefooted suggests he was ambushed IMO.
How do we know that he was barefoot ? ambushed ? You of all people not getting enveloped in his bs version are you ? I also find myself picking holes in individual parts when in fact the whole story except for the agreed facts could be utter garbage.RH could have even been carted away alive somehow and killed later....we just don't know.

I think from memory their shoes/boots were recovered or found in the burnt remains I don't remember going back to the original reports. I didn't say they were ambushed I said i said if they were killed bare footed they could have been ambushed. But I believe the was a specific reason the shoes/boots were accounted for and that's why Lynn also stated they were bare footed? Hope that helps

Haha don’t worry about potato cake/scallop. I travel interstate for work and normally just say potato thingy.
Hopefully the dirty dozen comes back soon. Take the pressure down!!
But the pressure is going to rise for all the true crime groupies.

Who to invest our faith in; the Lynn is Guilty or the Lynn is Innocent camp?

There will be podcasts, magazine and Newspaper articles galore, plus a few You tubers and even a book or two

I think that we may guess of someone who is at least at the first chapter

And of course, we will have the cookers as well and a flatearther or two promoting that Lynn was silenced because he was going to tell allm about the ice wall he saw as a pilots

The thing that’s hard to ignore is out of every person in the world that could be camping there it was a man who had already spoken to other hunters on gun safety.

Something GL wouldn’t have known when potentially creating his story.

His story would be totally unbelievable had it been a complete random who hadn’t had an issue with guns

Highly likely that RH had already given this information to GL on their earlier exchanges.

A cruel and spiteful bastard in my opinion would use that information in a way such as murdering CC in front of RH. "How do you like that you old bastard? Another family member dead from a 'hunting accident'? Boy you are just so unlucky aren't you?"

Did we ever find out exactly where the piece of Clay's skull was found and the shotgun lead was found? Lynn seems a bit perturbed by it claiming it was put there, it wasn't there when he left the scene.

Why would he say that?

I think he’s insinuating that police planted evidence.

This is a bloke that when confronted by RH with evidence of his illegal activity, cannot accept that he is at fault and should now face the consequences.

However you believed they died, he didn’t want to accept those consequences either.

My opinion is that GL has been avoiding consequences and blaming others for his bad choices his whole life.

Channel 9 will have Underbelly - The Pilot
Not to be confused with the pilot of Underbelly!

Never worked out why Underbelly was so successful other than with the 16 year olds for a bit of T&A

Dunno how they will fit it in to your proposal.

Once lent my copies of Phoenix 1 and 2 to an work colleague who was an Underbelly fan

He finished episode 4 of the first series but gave it up as he thought it wasn't as good as Underbelly

Yes, i have obtusely referred here before about that thread on professional pilots network prior..majority IMO could be be read "he is a weirdo loner",, but the were also polots saying he was great to fly with.
But it cetrainly raised red flags...after a out 5 pages of comments it was loocked, but still viewable, but then was removed from view completely.
Another thread is running on same forum, but similar to this one, it is covering the trial and general debate..no juicy info.

Ps:in fact, the pilots are complaining vehemently about the "ring ins" on their site from all this...they want to be rid of SLF (self loading freight, pilot jargon for non pilots/passengers!). Similiar to BF, lots of people come in late to the party, without having followed the case, spruiking all kinds of kooky kooker theories.....
Was that PPRUNE?

Completely brazen letting that skip. DD surely didn’t rehearse that response? The mask slipped for a moment.

Hill told Lynn about the accident in their initial greet and meet chat see below: I have no reason to disbelieve this because we know know this is true re Hill's relatives accidental killing.

You can read about this here 10571z:

Lynn told police he and Hill had conversed, including about deer hunting and the latter’s drone, Dann said. Hill also told Lynn that someone close to him had been accidentally killed by a deer hunter.

Hill then accused Lynn of hunting too close to camp, and said that he planned to take drone footage proving this to police, the court heard.

Lynn told him he was “talking nonsense”, returned to his own camp for dinner and decided to turn his car’s stereo up to annoy Hill.

Lynn told police that he then became aware of noise coming from his car, and saw Hill walking away with one of his guns and magazines, Dann said.

He asked for the gun back, to which Hill responded “**** off”, Dann said. Lynn told police that Hill lost his temper and said he was going to take the gun to police too.

According to the account given to police, Hill fired a shot into the air when Lynn attempted to retrieve the gun. Lynn said he retreated for cover, and told police he was “scared shitless”, but decided he had to get his gun back.

He said a “chaotic scene” then unfolded, with the pair struggling for the gun and Clay shouting: “Russell stop it.”

Hill had his finger on the trigger during the struggle, according to the account Lynn gave police, and the shotgun then discharged, with the shot going through the side mirror of Hill’s car and ricocheting into Clay’s head.

The court heard that Hill then let go of the gun to go to Clay. Lynn told police he fired the gun in the air to “make it safe”. He then went back to his car to return it and to turn the music off.

Lynn told police that Hill then came at him with a knife, screaming “she’s dead”.

There was another struggle that saw the knife go through the chest of Hill while they were on the ground, Lynn told police.

Dann said Lynn then “disentangled himself” from Hill, went to Clay and found that she was dead. Lynn returned to Hill, and found he was also dead.

I’ve said this from day one but many have refuted this. To my surprise.

That can be the only reason Lynn add those additional shots to his story.
Sound is varied by wind direction and terrain shooting into the air reduces the echo back and reduces the distance it can be heard, shooting with a backstop does increase the noise heard by the shooter and everyone else.
Has it been confirmed the contractors didn’t hear any shots? If so, that is surprising.

The account doesn’t improve with age does it? Sounds as much like bullshit as the first time I read it.

It’s hard to believe after blowing someone’s head off as an accident at close range with a shotgun you causally leave the scene to turn the music off.

I'd say yes to both, interesting points another reason the shotgun being stolen is an unlikely scenario.
The repercussions for RH would have been quite severe, police don't mess around with unlicensed individuals being in possession of a firearm, often ends in jail time for the more severe cases.

Not only was he in illegal possession of it unlicensed but apparently he fired it as well. That would have been an aggravating factor - he would have been in deep shit if any of that was true.

Thanks, makes more sense now.

It will be interesting to hear if manslaughter was discussed between DPP & Dann in the pre trial hearings after the verdict is announced.

A charge of manslaughter needs to prove an unlawful act caused the death of somebody.

In the defences case;

-CC died in a self defence tussle over a gun (not an unlawful act)
-RH died in self defence tussle over a gun (not an unlawful act)

It’s murder or acquit.
