Ryder/Bellchambers #2 Ruck Duo in AFL?

Do you have any sort of decent reasoning whatsoever? I don't think anyone here has said they are clearly the second best combination in the league.
Do I even need to quote posts? There's at least 20 posts stating that they're the 2nd best ruck combination only to Cox & NN from a variety of yours truly, Essendon supports without a clue.

So by that logic, Pyke > Naitanui?
Depends, raw potential NN clearly, effectiveness, efficiency, impact & consistency I would say Pyke, especially his performance in last years GF win.
NN has a lot of development ahead of him and could become one of the best ruck man of the last 20 years if he can be consistent and stays injury free.

Wow! Naitanui clearly leads Pyke in those facets. A decent GF doesn't change that.

Ryder proven big game player, TBell can match it up with the best in the league. So far our ruck duo has beaten Jacobs, Jamar and Griffin. Pyke is average at best but looks better than he is because he has Mumford + gun midfielders at his feet.

So the duo has beaten 3 ruckmen who have gone at it alone. What about the extra player those teams get to pick by playing a lone ruckman?

Says the one who believes that ANZAC Day matches are insignificant. Let's ask Buckley or Hird if they agree, huh?
Grand finals aren't played in April last I checked. But then again I'm old and my memory is shot. I remember in the old days when I had to walk 40,000km's to the bus stop and we carried back packs made from bricks...

Well we'll see how we go come September.
Hey remember you've got to make it through June first, and then there's July, and oh wait, August and guess what, the first week of September. If Essendon can navigate those often considered treacherous waters, then maybe they'll make the 8. Maybe. And maybe Ryder will get a chance to fluff it again in a final.

Please stop responding to my posts. I don't want to talk to you.

lol your a fantastic troll

Ryder taps to advantage the last few weeks have been amazing. Naitanui like.
I'd pick them as the second best division after wce happily myself.
Any suggestions of which pair is better?

They've always been Naitinui like. He just doesn't have quite the same reach as Naitanui which means he get them less frequently.

FWIW if I'd rank the top 8 ruck duos in the AFL at the present I'd go:

WCE, Ess, Syd, Fre, NM, Ric, Ade, Gee (If it's H-Mac/Vardy, not West/Blicavs)

They have been particularly good the last two weeks, Against melbourne he was having a field day with hit outs to advantage. Turned the game a bit against freo with them as well. His frequency has been up in the last two weeks.
