Well they would let me in wearing stonewash jeans and my brand new flanny
Look, I know you've only got a new flanny because you got it as a bribe to vote for the proposal to up the speel limit on Albany Hwy to 150km/h and make drag racing outside Carousel compulsory for all WA plated vehicles manufactured between 1975 and 1982.

I actually burst out laughing at this post well done:p
Seriously though 'street racing' is a pet hate of mine and it pi55es me right off when the media calls it drag racing

As for my "resignation" as Treasurer, I'd like to say I was forced out, and will be seeking retribution at the next election as an independent candidate in Stirling. I'm standing on a platform of knocking down the Observation City hotel and banning the Fremantle Dockers from entering the electorate, and thus in early polling would appear to be a clear favourite.

Oh, hey Q. When did you get back?

I have a nice Indigenous Affairs portfolio for you, if you want it. It means you get to do things directly aimed at ********ing off UNIT, if that helps.

Of course, you have to hold the seat of Stirling at the next election for the Loony Left. Come back to your spiritual home, Mr Q. :)

The member for O'Connor, would like to put forward legislation for the following:

1. Private schools cease getting funding from government & that money to be put into the public school system instead.

2. The tax free threshold to be raised to $10,000, for incomes under $35,000.

3. That medicare services only to be available to people earning under $150,000.

4. HECS fees to be abolished.

I will be presenting further legislation for social reforms soon.

The Nationalist Conservative party will not be supporting any of these 'social reforms'

We find they go against the grain of what is good for this country.

Signed

Deputy Leader of the Opposition and Honourable Member for Wentworth, CarlyP

I think we should change the focus of the Ministry of Defence and state our real intent and call it the ministry of Attack. Let there be no bones about our intent as a nation, is to go from middle power to ruler of all the Pacific, Hawaii too, if we can manage it

Followed by a running spear tackle resulting in mantis and rJ duking it out on the lawn in front of parliament.

AAP -

Prime Minister CharlieG has joined calls for Opposition Leader Rick James to resign following his brutal attack on a government MP.

In a terse and angry statement immediately following Question Time, Mr G told party colleagues that the Member for O'Connor, Krupskaya Mantis, was recovering in hospital from her injuries. Her condition is listed as stable.

"It's completely unacceptable behaviour from a politician that has shown himself on many occasions to be nothing other than a boorish hooligan."

"Bigfooty deserves a better standard of Opposition than Mr James can provide."

The PM refused to confirm whether former Treasurer Mr Q had accepted an offer to rejoin the party at the upcoming Bigfooty election.

Warna? Where are you? I need you to assure those nasty guys with the guns that we have no short-term territorial claim to Hawaii.

Actually, make no mention of the long-term.

Does the 'Honourable' Member for Wentworth have any comment on the Leader of the Opposition's assault on the Member for O'Connor?

The treasurer quashes the uppity backbencher's obvious attempt at self-aggrandisement.

Four months later, he adopts policies 1 and 2.

p.s. mantis, on point 3, most people earnging over $150,000 have private cover because you get your 1% rebate with it.
There are many things private health insurance won't cover, and there are many things private hospitals just do not do. (I think you and Mantis need to speak to the health minister for a while.)

meh, at the very last the rich pay for the majoirty use of medicare, if anything waiting lists should be prioritised so that those why pay most into medicare get to use it first.

Darwin's theory says nothing of the sort (and anyway, doesn't your party champion "intelligent design"?)

BTW, your primary vote just dropped after those words.

The member of O'connor, after being released from hospital, is pleased that at least two of her policies have been adopted.

Isn't darwins theory based around the strong surviving and prospering while the weak die off?

If so it's onyl fair to conclude those with money are strong, those without are weak, therefore the strong deserve the medical attention first so they can back to being strong and providing for the weak. No?

As the member for Hindmarsh and given the previous Governments unequivocal brown-nosing and becoming the 51st state of the USA, I put forward the following private members bill:-

Speaker, in the interests of the overworked and underpaid workforce of Australia the following additional holidays are to be gazetted given certain months currently don't have a public holiday:-

February - Martin Luther King Day (to be known in Oz as Noel Pearson day)
May - Memorial Day
July - Independence Day (we need some fireworks mid-year)
August - still trying to find one (we could use the Bank Holiday they have in the UK)
September - Labour Day (some states we have it two months in succession but what the heck)
October - Columbus Day (to be known as Cook Day)
November - Thanksgiving Day (in recognition of the freedom from repression and for all the holidays)

On behalf of the Nationalist Conservative Party I would appologise to the honorable member for O'conner. Mr James' behaviour was disgracefull and we will be dealing with him, he will be facing disciplinary actions.

I appologise for any embaressment and pain that Mr James' action have created.

However as a party we are disgusted in The Honourable member for O'connors policy platform. We vow to fight it on the streets and electorates around this great nation of ours. Physical violence is disgusting and we can never condone it however.

Signed,

The honourable member for wentworth and Deputy Leader of the Opposition.

No, it is that those who are genetically best suited to their environment are more likely to reproduce. Under your system, poorly adapted people, who happened to be born wealthy, would be treated better then well adapted people who happened to be poor.

Also, evolution is a mechanism. It is not an ideology.

We've evolved passed caring about the environment, we dictate IT, not the other way around, now it's about who can survive within our man made and all powerful system.

If those bron into wealth contribute a lot of tax by brgining in large incomes then they get top of the list.

If they're just some rich 25 year old who doesn't work and lives at his folks place in the eastern suburbs and he gets sick, bottom of the list.

Damn uppity careerist politicians. They're making my power trip very difficult to maintain.

Look, after all the stuff that's gone down now, I'm going to have to offer my electorate a pretty big bribe to get them to support me if I rejoin the party. I'm thinking a party platform involving a 75,000 seat football stadium in Perth would be a start, located just outside my electorate.

While Indigenous Affairs would be interesting as I could wangle something meaning all the best Aboriginal players end up at West Coast on the new AbSalaryCap (provided to all teams that have never had a locality in their club name, and separate from our normal cap and list restrictions of course), I think I need some jucier bribes as well.

Minister for Sport would be good, as long as the party supports some of my necessary policies, such as the banning of Rugby League and the enforcement of hot pink away strips on clubs that resist alternate jumpers (I don't know how you'll convince the member for O'Connor about that last one, but that's your job). I might also want to repeal the law that guarantees any NSW based cricketer who knows what a pitch is a spot in the Test team, but we can discuss that one in private.

I'd also like to suggest that the Government support a motion that Channel 9's licences only be renewed on the condition that Eddie McGuire not host any TV shows that are 1) quiz shows, 2) one off specials, 3) sports related, such as the footy or 4) not sports related, such as the Footy Show.
