Official Match Thread S18 R07 - West Coast Wonders vs Baghdad Bandits at The Colosseum

Yep. I just turned down a $15 million dollar deal with Nike cause I'm so good. I'd like to see when you "made your mark" cause I bet it was real deep. I've had enough of the bandits. Can we just collect the 4 points and go home?

It was the Season 13 Grand Final, whilst not a rookie, I was a mere infant in my stature on this board. I was disillusioned with myself, my team mates and the East Side Hawks after a Preliminary Final defeat the week before, and, after a good 110-odd hours on the piss with fellow Bombers, my time had come. Entertainment was needed, and entertainment I did give. Hilarity ensued. The banners I created were masterpieces. Loved by none. Hated by all. I had a good 48 hour period where I made a complete arse (note, not ass) of myself in front of the Wonders, the Hawks and the entirety of the Sweet FA. From that match forward, for every Grand Final after that, there has been an unwritten rule that those not participating in the Grand Final preclude themselves from spamming up arguably the most famous thread of each season. Otherwise known as "The beez rule".

Feel free to have a peruse through the Season 13 Grand Final thread and reminisce with your team mates about the good ol' times, coz hey, come Sunday you'll be feeling might upset.

You cant shovel shit onto our doorstep and then tell us to pick up our own contribution. Fair is fair in love, war, banter and stamp collecting.

Of course, you could just go the all out offensive banter method but wheres the fun in that? Witty and humourous back and forth where you dont mind making fun of yourself while also poking fun at your opponent is the height of enjoyment here. Simply sticking to the generic "Your banter is bland Bandits, you are shit, we will win, cause we will, no shh Im right" doesnt exactly give you the high ground. It might give you a hernia, or perhaps a case of the itches, but thats it.

Now, on to more important topics of discussion, what is your safety word going to be on Sunday so we know when to ease back on the domination headed your way? I suggest it NOT be Pineapple, as that just seems to encourage us.
