The midpoint of Season 19 has come and gone and it’s shaping up to be a cracking second half of the season.
Are we seeing the cracks appearing at the Furies? A disappearing act from one of their stars, 2 losses on the trot as well as having the worst captain in the history of any sport ever played throughout the entire history of the universe and the Furies look vulnerable. We know they are good, they know they are good, they just need to figure out what’s happened in the last two weeks so they don’t let this get out of hand. They are up against the inform team too, this is not a time to be stumbling.
The Warriors are on fire. 4 wins on the trot, they are winning pretty, but importantly they are winning ugly too. They fought hard against the Hawks last week and fell over the line, showing a maturity that evaded them in their debut season. The Warriors are still fiery, angry and boisterous, but these Warriors have gone from green privates to hardened foes in the space of season. Frankston you should be proud, Wacky you could learn a thing or two about leading a team.
Interesting tidbit
It is the opinion of this anonymous author that Wacky smells, and that the author is also looking forward to the Roys v Warriors game as he misses them.
Players to watch
Furies: Wacky Tiger , fumbler & SpudsLoveChild
Warriors: El Dubya, Reginald Perrin & Frankston Rover
The prediction haiku (dedicated to El Dubya)
The march continues
For the warriors as they
Dispose of the furies.
OFFICIAL TEAMS TO BE SUBMITTED BY 11:59pm FRIDAY NIGHT AEDT. PLEASE TAG BONCER34 AND ENSURE YOU HAVE “OFFICIAL TEAM” SOMEWHERE IN THE POST THAT CAN BE SEARCHED BY THE SIMMER.
BE WARNED GAMES WILL MOST LIKELY BE PLAYED MONDAY/TUESDAY DUE TO INTERNATIONAL DAY OF THE WALKING BONCERS
