I seem to have a bad habit of going to a lot of Hawthorn games where it pours. Last game I went to last year was the GC game (Round 22) where it'd been pouring all day. That same season I went to the Melbourne game where for a quarter it was pretty wet and the West Coast game with Sparkle which was great fun but we almost got swept away the rain was that heavy. Still we did have the whole front row to ourselves which was fun.

That was a great game, I've never had a whole row of seats to just myself and my friends/family before. After reading your story about Ben Ronke, I'm impressed that you were willing to sit in the rain again

How was walking back to Flinders Street though, I'm surprised we weren't picked up by the wind and tossed into the Yarra River, which wouldn't have mattered too much given we were pretty wet anyway
