The moronic admin of the time imported the Bears to deal with the Swamprat problem of Sweet

Unfortunately the Bears were fat and lazy and ignorant and just left the rats alone.

The Bears are just another failure in the list of epic failures by our overhyped and unskilled administrators
What's next? A school for entitled youngsters? Give me a break!

Oh petal,

I may be at the Gumbies for only one season, but my very short stint will be much more successful that your entire career as a Bear will be

Wow, this smacks of a lack of conviction.

Not sure how the other Gumbies could play alongside such a mercenary.

You can do better Gumbies.

That doesn't sound like expansion to me.
Taking off my Bears and banter hat for a second here:

It isn't expansion if that happens, you are correct but what it still is, however is growth. Teams rising and falling should be a natural part of the SFA in my opinion and simple name changes don't really cut the mustard unless the entire side has a culture change with it. When the Bandits changed back to the Bombers, it brought in a new antagonism and ego to the club. When the Swamprats moved from Alberton to Sin City the entire list basically got an overhaul in 2 seasons to become the SpamRats of S20-22. These are examples of culture change which helped stale clubs become fresh. The change from Wolves to Gumbies and Hawks to Phoenix is wallpapering over the cracks side of things.

The Gumbies have been on life support in many different ways for about 10-12 seasons now. The league for some reason doesn't want them to die and be replaced by a new side (whichever that might be). The longevity of a side should be judged on their ability to maintain activity and a culture that grows and adapts as opposed to be an inability to let go.

The Swamprats in S18 should have died. The Hawks in S22 should have died. Kill off the dying and replace them with a new club with new rookies would have been better for the league's overall health and growth.

In my opinion anyway.

Well I am only in my 3rd week of my captaincy at the Gumbies. Culture changes don't happen overnight. Although our team has had a major improvement in activity so far this season.

No they don't and if 3 seasons the Gumbies become a league powerhouse, ****ing awesome! But a lot of people have said what you said as the captain of the Gumbies

Anyway meta talk over: Carn the Bears

Calm down edge-lord. Spamming gifs and general chit-chat is more your style. You don't send your best hairdresser into war.
I think the Chinese Communist Party persona has rotted your brain. Although I'm not quite sure if you had one to begin with...
