The 24 hour waiting period can be waived if a team can't field a full team of 20.

As per Rule 4D:
The 24 hour period rule can be waived, only if the team does not have enough eligible players to fill the team and less than 24 hours remains until the teamsheet deadline.

Has this been waived, NaturalDisaster? Callums_Guns didn't nominate the Bombers, so does that just give them first crack at new/returning players ahead of other clubs, even though their position is of their own making? Seems an interesting rule.

It's a rule to help struggling clubs who can't field a team.

The Bombers had a small squad and then a bunch of them got banned. It's hardly the responsibility of the rest of the league to fix their situation for them, or to be at a disadvantage because of it.

Regardless, to my knowledge the 24 hour requirement has not yet been waived, so it's not an appropriate signing.
