If Carr is actually doing the coaching then there is no reason not to sack Hinkley. Daddy Donuts is being paid around $1M to be a cheerleader on the bench for 2025.

If Donuts is so worried about his legacy the club should tell him he can walk away now on a reduced payout or be publicly sacked.

It's nice to see the media finally push back on this "but what about 2012" bullshit. That was worse than any 2012 loss, including the GWS loss than got Primus sacked.

In 2012 we were a rebuilding side full of kids. Now we've got plenty of experience with the most "stable" set of club leaders in the league and we're getting pasted by 90 points in round 1. We finished 2nd last year and played in a prelim final while an aging Collingwood side missed the 8.

We didn't lose any games by 90 points in 2012.

This is yet another game that should see Hinkley sacked on the spot.

New coaches and their styles take a while to click with the playing group, particularly after a long stint with the one coach.

Ken wouldn't be changing his gameplan too much to notice in his definite final year of coaching.

I reckon Carr is 100% taking over already in terms of gameplan and style of play. May take half the season or even more to see it come through.
