Hinkley has a contract for next year which puts him in a strong position. Ports have a difficult run to make the finals. Win v losses will obviously impact both parties view.
IMO an amicable agreement to all would be the most likely process for a change.
I can't believe you are contemplating the possibility of your absolute hero Kenny Hinkley leaving Port Adelaide. No doubt you would follow him to his new club.

im not sold on clarko, his last 5 years were very average at Hawthorn but i always through the hawthorn list during the premierships werent that good and he got the best out of them so maybe im wrong?
Clarkson did exactly what you want out of a coach, and more, during Hawthorn's time in its premiership window. That's all you can ask of a coach. Hardwick is starting a similar decline having got the best out of Richmond.
Hinkley on the other hand squandered every hand he was dealt.
That's just the cyclical nature of modern day AFL football.

...

I think the three key positions we have wrong are CEO, coach and captain. Richo is a loser, Ken is obviously a loser and so is Jonas. None of these guys will ever be involved in a premiership. Move them on.

We need winners in these positions that can change the culture of the club and rid us of this choking culture for once and for all.
You forgot the chairman.

I agree he doesn't really rule them out. It could well be he has and was trying to be polite, or it's just the usual 'oh nothing is happening' to the media to dampen speculation whilst everything else happens behind closed doors.

How about you calm down buddy. Opening yourself up to all sorts of legal action with the wild shit being implied in this post.

If the police are reading this, my opinion is that Hinkley is contracted and intends to be at Port forever.

If Clarko nets us a flag or 4 he can spend the following 5 years sunbathing at Henley for all I care..

He wouldn't though, that's the thing. History has shown Clarkson isn't happy with just one flag. He's proven himself already, so there won't be any "Alan Scott, you were wrong *cue in rack" nonsense. He'll want more....and more...

Realistically if there's dialogue that it's coming to an end there should be a 'you might as well piss off now' moment when finals are virtually impossible.
Yeh I can see that coming soon...hopefully Friday morning.

I am going to totally be putting sarcastic comments about Hinkley worshipers following him on the BookFace.

Lol. Koch will be 'Ken has been good enough to stay to the end of the year, giving us stability'. There's zero chance of the club allowing any chance of it been seen as moving Ken on. That'd start even some of the sheep questioning why now and why not earlier?

Given the Koch obsession with "stability" I'd be shocked if the club hadn't already agreed to terms with a new coach.

If the players turn up Friday night for a Thursday night game we'll definitely know Hinkley has lost the players. ;)
Well we've got form on that score - just 9 months ago, we turned up an hour late for a preliminary final........

In other words:
The 0-5 just casually happened. An unlucky accident. How can anyone be responsible for it? But, despite such a misfortune, we have shown our true selves going 5-1. That wasn’t luck. No, sir! It’s the hard evidence of our good work.

The argument isn’t worth of an actual refutation.
Recency bias. If we'd started 5-1 and then lost 5 in a row heading into the bye you'd start to hear the noise of knives being sharpened.

Hinkley laughs off gws rumour by deflecting to sub standard radio competitor. Rowey and Ginever laugh with him instead of pressing him for a answer
